Introduction of Fujian opera

Fujian Opera, also known as Fuzhou Opera, is one of the Han operas in Fujian. It is the only existing opera that sings and recites Bai in Fuzhou dialect. Popular in central Fujian, eastern Fujian and northern Fujian, and spread to Taiwan Province Province and Southeast Asia. It is a multi-voice opera, commonly known as "the first three symphonies" and nicknamed "Rongqiang" or "Minqiang". It is a fusion of Confucian operas in the late Ming Dynasty, Pingjiang operas in the early Qing Dynasty and Jianghu operas in the late Qing Dynasty (Guangxu to Xuantong years). On May 20th, 2006, Fuzhou Fujian Opera declared by Fuzhou Fujian Theatre was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
