Where is Beijing fahai temple?

Beijing fahai temple is located at No.48 Modaokou, south foot of Cuiwei Mountain, Shijingshan District, Beijing. The temple has the most complete and largest existing Ming Dynasty murals in China, which can be compared with Dunhuang murals and is the treasure of fahai temple Town Temple.

The figures depicted in the murals in the temple are lifelike, with smooth lines and bright colors. After more than 600 years, they haven't changed much, which is a very important part of ancient mural art.

Guanyin is painted in the middle behind the shrine, Manjusri is painted on the right, and Pu Xian is painted on the left. There are boys who are good at managing money, Wei Tuo, Buddha, Ma Chuan lion, elephant tamer, man and parrot, clear spring, bamboo and peony. There are three algae wells at the top of the hall, and the "Datura" and Bodhi statues on the ceiling are very beautiful.

Fahai temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Founded in the fourth year of Ming Dynasty (1439), it took five years to build, which has high artistic value.

The main buildings in fahai temple are the Mountain Gate, the King's Hall, the Ursa Major Hall, the Great Compassion Pavilion, the Honghualou Building and guest rooms.

There are five wonders in fahai temple, namely, murals of the Ming Dynasty, ancient bronze bells, Pinus bungeana, Datura Sinensis and a four-cypress bridge. In the past, the temple was very large, and it was rebuilt many times in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The only buildings that have been preserved now are the Ursa Major Hall, the Bell and Drum Tower and the Mountain Gate.
