If a strict practitioner modifies the vehicle according to the high standard of performance or the standard of entry-level track racing, it is up to the riders to decide whether it is suitable or not. After all, many people will never set foot on the racetrack. As a family car, the ES8 definitely has some shortcomings in the track test. As mentioned in the last article, ES8 was originally designed for a winding experience. Safe access is the purpose of this time, and it may not be the end of ES8 in the future.

What are the two most important accessories for a car to drive on the track? 1. Tire: ES8- Okay, that's enough. 2. Brake: ES8-No way. The original brand MC6 can be said to be cheap, but it still exists as a BUG, because its dry performance is second to none in the whole street tire field. Here, the authoritative tire evaluation institutions in Europe have made horizontal comparison, grip, handling, road feeling feedback and so on. I won't go into details here, the original tire performance can be used.

But it doesn't mean that the original child is better than no friends. Of course not, far from it. How can original tires be stronger than hot melt tires? My Pirelli P ZERO used in the linear acceleration race basically didn't slip. Do not fully open the throttle when the direction exceeds 180 degrees. Well, I won't say much about driving. I'm afraid I have no idea.

In this linear acceleration race, I still use Pirelli P ZERO tire, a high-performance street tire that has not been updated for several years. The tire pressure is adjusted to 2. 1bar, and the wheel hub is still 22 inch Ferriani aria A 106, 12 kg, which is not a pure racing wheel hub. Last year, the brake pads were replaced with Eiaufa RT550 high-performance street shooting (non-competition). In the face of no physical braking, every braking point before entering the corner needs to be advanced, otherwise it may rush out of the track and hit the wall and damage the car. The video in the car seems to be driving smoothly, and there are no signs of power failure or forced emergency braking. But if you put a Gopro under your feet, you can see that the brake pedal will involuntarily suck in, and when the accelerator pedal is still at the same depth, the forward G value suddenly disappears, which depends on professional Vbox. Of course, I can't install this thing on the ES8.

Let's talk about the principle first: the more new products, the more electronic auxiliary units, and its purpose is to help drivers operate better and more correctly. These two indicators of civil vehicles are of concern to all car manufacturers. These two indicators of Weilai are outstanding, and the deeper indicators behind are not concerned by civilian vehicles, and manufacturers will not increase too much investment in this area. After all, a very small number of people are served by investing a lot of things. Under the braking performance of 100-0 of 33.8m, the joint action of MC6 "strange" tires, the kinetic energy recovery of iboost system and the four-piston brake used by Brembo for 20 years have all played a synergistic role. My answer is: the two motors continuously output high braking oil pressure, but they are not linear at all and cannot be operated accurately. Usually, how deep you step, the car stops completely. Now you step on the same depth and the car is still rushing forward desperately. This is called no physical braking. At this time, the driving computer predicts in advance and the motor intervenes in advance. This reaction may only take 0.x seconds, and the motor outputs enough oil pressure to the vehicle for emergency braking, although it is not fun. There are many such examples abroad: when Ferrari's 488 GTB ran in New Taipei a few years ago, due to the adjustment of electronic brakes, as long as the front wheels were braked and accompanied by flying slopes, it would completely lock up about 1 s, resulting in the performance never going up. In the end, the previous generation of high-performance track version 488 Pista solved this problem, which was 2 1 second faster than GTB, and the score entered the 7-point mark.
