Taste passion fruit for the first time

This is my first time to eat passion fruit.

Passion fruit is about the size of a peach, but its skin is very smooth. The passion fruit I bought is purple, and the skin is covered with brown spots like stars. When you pick up the passion fruit and smell it close to your nose, there is a faint, sour fruit fragrance, which is very resistant to smell.

I looked it up on the Internet and found that there are many ways to eat passion fruit. Eating raw without skin is of course the most direct; Or soak the pulp in water and drink it with honey; Or spread the pulp on a piece of bread and eat it together, and so on. Eating for the first time is naturally fierce (lazy). I cut a lid directly on it with a knife, and then spoon it. Because I heard that passion fruit pulp is very sour, it is generally not eaten raw, but I just want to taste it.

After the passion fruit is cut horizontally, the pink endocarp is wrapped with a mass of yellow-green pulp and transparent seeds, which is as thick as egg liquid and does not look very attractive. I took a spoonful with a spoon. As soon as I put it in my mouth, a strong sour taste immediately attacked my taste buds and my whole face shrank into a ball. However, I am heavy-mouthed, and this sour taste is acceptable, and even some aftertaste is endless!
