What does it mean to welcome Master to Chaoshan?

"Appreciating teachers" is a sacrificial activity.

On the fifteenth day of the first month, young people in the village will carry eight big sedan chairs and their grandfathers around the streets of the village. The parade is very large, including flag bearers (raising flags), card players (holding placards), bearers and musicians.
