The fifteenth chapter of A Dream of Red Mansions is "Wang Xifeng is in power in Tiejian Temple, and Qin whales are interested in Shantou Temple". The names of Tiejian Temple and Shantou Temple are reminiscent of Fan Chengda's poem "Tiejian Millennium, there must be tile steamed bread".

The style of rich people is first reflected in the house, with high doors and high thresholds. Not only the threshold is high, but also the richest and most powerful people have to wrap their own thresholds with iron, because they hope that their iron thresholds can exist for a thousand years. However, Fan Chengda pointed out that even if your iron threshold can exist for a thousand years, can you live for a thousand years? Can you stop death in the end? Isn't it still buried in the grave and turned into a homemade steamed bread?

Temples are named after "iron threshold" and "steamed bread", which seems to have a sense of vigilance to people. Advise people not to pursue fame and fortune too much, and not to indulge in sensuality too much, because life is only a "bumpkin" in the end. But is the world really shocked by this?

The story told in the fifteenth time is still a funeral, but the scene of the story is no longer the Jia family, but on the way to the funeral, Tiejian Temple and Shantou Temple. After Qin Keqing's death, he didn't bury the coffin, but parked it in Tiesill Temple, Jia's family temple.

The other episode is the fate of Baoyu and the daughter of the common people, "Ermaizi". On the way to the funeral, Wang Xifeng took Baoyu and Qin Zhong to a farmhouse to change clothes and rest.

Baoyu saw a spinning wheel on the kang and came up to play with it. I saw a village girl about seventeen or eighteen running around and shouting, "Don't move!" " This spinning wheel may belong to this girl. She couldn't bear to have the thread that she had worked so hard for a long time confused at random, so she ran to stop it.

However, a girl with a low status in the village shouted at a noble son, which probably didn't conform to the etiquette at that time. So the pages were busy drinking and stopped her.

Baoyu, as your son, didn't condescend and boss around, nor did he blame the girl for being rude. I was busy leaving my hand and apologizing to the girl. In front of this girl, Baoyu didn't feel honored at all, but was full of apologies for his behavior just now. I apologetically explained, "I haven't seen it before. Let me try."

This girl is not shy or coy in front of strangers, but generous. He said, "Where can you do this? Stand aside and I'll show you. "

Baoyu is full of respect for this girl. She is very different from the Jia girls. She is simple, healthy, cheerful, with the smell of earth, giving Baoyu a completely different feeling. But at this moment, Qin Zhongyan pulled Baoyu and said with a smile, "This Qing is very interesting." Obviously, this sentence is full of shallow flirting. This also greatly hurt Baoyu's mood, so he pushed him away and said, "Shit, if you talk nonsense again, I will fight."

The maid was spinning around when Baoyu was about to speak when the old lady over there called, "Come here quickly, Second Girl." Baoyu felt annoyed when the girl left the spinning wheel and walked all the way.

When he left, all the women in the village came to praise him. Baoyu noticed that there was no second girl. I got on the bus and didn't go far. I saw the second girl pregnant with her little brother and laughing with several little girls. Baoyu couldn't wait to get off the bus and go with her, but he didn't expect everyone to follow, so he had to send her with affection. However, the car is so light and fast that it can't be seen for a while.

This passage is very touching. Baoyu's affection is not only for Daiyu, who has a deep fate with him, but also for a village girl with a shallow fate. When the second girl left the spinning wheel, he was bored. He was very disappointed when he didn't find the second girl among the village women. When I saw the second girl in the car, I couldn't wait to get off and go with her.

Buddhists say that even if we are in the same boat for a hundred years, this fate is not simple. Baoyu cherishes these fates all his life, no matter how deep, poor and rich this person is. He had deep feelings for many people in the world, and later became Wukong because of his disillusionment, and was finally classified as a Buddhist.

On the way to the funeral, Baoyu met two people, one was King Jing of Beijing, the other was a wealthy prince, and the other was the daughter of a commoner. Rich or poor, it is his destiny in life.

Baoyu's encounter with them was not as profound as that with Daiyu. The author seems to remind us that there is such a fate in life, maybe only once, maybe just a simple conversation, but at some point in life, we will still recall that encounter.

Next, the funeral was held in Tiejian Temple, where clan people lived. However, Wang Xifeng felt that it was inconvenient to live in Tiexi Temple, so she sent someone to tell the aunt of Shantou Temple to make room for her.

This steamed stuffed bun temple is not far from Tiejian Temple, so Wang Xifeng took Baoyu and Qin Zhong to live in the steamed stuffed bun temple, and then she had Wang Xifeng's "power" and Qin Zhong's "interests".

The author made a cover-up about the origin of the name of Shantou Temple. This steamed bread temple is the Shuiyue Temple. Because the steamed bread in his temple is well made, he got this nickname. This is the author's intention to hide the meaning and truth of this chapter. Readers should not be deceived by the author's cover-up.

Wang Xifeng lived in Shantou Temple, but Lao took the opportunity to entrust Wang Xifeng with a lawsuit:

As a monk, this empty old nun should be in charge of other people's litigation cases, which shows that she is neither clean nor empty, and she is not a monk who devotes herself to cultivation. What capital does a monk have to accept other people's lawsuits? This should start with the relationship between Shuiyue Temple and Jiafu.

As can be seen from the description in Chapter 7, the Jia family not only has Tiejian Temple, but also provides several temples offering incense and silver every month. Shuiyue Temple is one of them. Old ni of Shuiyue Temple often goes in and out of Jia's house with the information of his disciples to collect monthly money. This net loss is not just as simple as collecting money every month. She actively makes friends with powerful people, and it's not just the Jia family.
