Tiejian Temple and Mantou Temple

The fifteenth chapter of A Dream of Red Mansions is "Wang Xifeng is in power in Tiejian Temple, and Qin whales are interested in Shantou Temple". The names of Tiejian Temple and Shantou Temple are reminiscent of Fan Chengda's poem "Tiejian Millennium, there must be tile steamed bread".

The style of rich people is first reflected in the house, with high doors and high thresholds. Not only the threshold is high, but also the richest and most powerful people have to wrap their own thresholds with iron, because they hope that their iron thresholds can exist for a thousand years. However, Fan Chengda pointed out that even if your iron threshold can exist for a thousand years, can you live for a thousand years? Can you stop death in the end? Isn't it still buried in the grave and turned into a homemade steamed bread?

Temples are named after "iron threshold" and "steamed bread", which seems to have a sense of vigilance to people. Advise people not to pursue fame and fortune too much, and not to indulge in sensuality too much, because life is only a "bumpkin" in the end. But is the world really shocked by this?

0 1

The story told in the fifteenth time is still a funeral, but the scene of the story is no longer the Jia family, but on the way to the funeral, Tiejian Temple and Shantou Temple. After Qin Keqing's death, he didn't bury the coffin, but parked it in Tiesill Temple, Jia's family temple.

This iron sill temple was built by Rongning No.2 CCBA, and Rongning No.2 CCBA considered it for a long time. Their ancestral home is not in Beijing, but in Jinling, so they built a temple for themselves and their descendants to stop their spirits after their death. The coffin is parked in Tiejian Temple and will be sent back to the ancestral home for burial in due course.

This iron threshold temple has two houses, Yin and Yang. Yin house is the place where coffins are parked, and Yang house is the place where monks are sent to see off their spirits. In Chapter 15, I wrote about Qin Keqing's funeral, that is, sending her coffin from Jiafu to Tiexi Temple.

On the way to the funeral, the author wrote two episodes. One is the extremely rich King Jing who came to attend the funeral in person, and wrote in detail the encounter between King Jing and Baoyu and the fate of these two rich boys with both talents and looks.

The other episode is the fate of Baoyu and the daughter of the common people, "Ermaizi". On the way to the funeral, Wang Xifeng took Baoyu and Qin Zhong to a farmhouse to change clothes and rest.

Baoyu saw a spinning wheel on the kang and came up to play with it. I saw a village girl about seventeen or eighteen running around and shouting, "Don't move!" " This spinning wheel may belong to this girl. She couldn't bear to have the thread that she had worked so hard for a long time confused at random, so she ran to stop it.

However, a girl with a low status in the village shouted at a noble son, which probably didn't conform to the etiquette at that time. So the pages were busy drinking and stopped her.

Baoyu, as your son, didn't condescend and boss around, nor did he blame the girl for being rude. I was busy leaving my hand and apologizing to the girl. In front of this girl, Baoyu didn't feel honored at all, but was full of apologies for his behavior just now. I apologetically explained, "I haven't seen it before. Let me try."

This girl is not shy or coy in front of strangers, but generous. He said, "Where can you do this? Stand aside and I'll show you. "

Baoyu is full of respect for this girl. She is very different from the Jia girls. She is simple, healthy, cheerful, with the smell of earth, giving Baoyu a completely different feeling. But at this moment, Qin Zhongyan pulled Baoyu and said with a smile, "This Qing is very interesting." Obviously, this sentence is full of shallow flirting. This also greatly hurt Baoyu's mood, so he pushed him away and said, "Shit, if you talk nonsense again, I will fight."

The maid was spinning around when Baoyu was about to speak when the old lady over there called, "Come here quickly, Second Girl." Baoyu felt annoyed when the girl left the spinning wheel and walked all the way.

When he left, all the women in the village came to praise him. Baoyu noticed that there was no second girl. I got on the bus and didn't go far. I saw the second girl pregnant with her little brother and laughing with several little girls. Baoyu couldn't wait to get off the bus and go with her, but he didn't expect everyone to follow, so he had to send her with affection. However, the car is so light and fast that it can't be seen for a while.

This passage is very touching. Baoyu's affection is not only for Daiyu, who has a deep fate with him, but also for a village girl with a shallow fate. When the second girl left the spinning wheel, he was bored. He was very disappointed when he didn't find the second girl among the village women. When I saw the second girl in the car, I couldn't wait to get off and go with her.

Buddhists say that even if we are in the same boat for a hundred years, this fate is not simple. Baoyu cherishes these fates all his life, no matter how deep, poor and rich this person is. He had deep feelings for many people in the world, and later became Wukong because of his disillusionment, and was finally classified as a Buddhist.

On the way to the funeral, Baoyu met two people, one was King Jing of Beijing, the other was a wealthy prince, and the other was the daughter of a commoner. Rich or poor, it is his destiny in life.

Baoyu's encounter with them was not as profound as that with Daiyu. The author seems to remind us that there is such a fate in life, maybe only once, maybe just a simple conversation, but at some point in life, we will still recall that encounter.

Next, the funeral was held in Tiejian Temple, where clan people lived. However, Wang Xifeng felt that it was inconvenient to live in Tiexi Temple, so she sent someone to tell the aunt of Shantou Temple to make room for her.

This steamed stuffed bun temple is not far from Tiejian Temple, so Wang Xifeng took Baoyu and Qin Zhong to live in the steamed stuffed bun temple, and then she had Wang Xifeng's "power" and Qin Zhong's "interests".

The author made a cover-up about the origin of the name of Shantou Temple. This steamed bread temple is the Shuiyue Temple. Because the steamed bread in his temple is well made, he got this nickname. This is the author's intention to hide the meaning and truth of this chapter. Readers should not be deceived by the author's cover-up.

Wang Xifeng lived in Shantou Temple, but Lao took the opportunity to entrust Wang Xifeng with a lawsuit:

The rich man has a daughter named Brother Jin, who once met Li Yanzi and his grandfather Chang 'an's brother-in-law in the temple. Li's official's son took a fancy to Zhang Jinge and was bent on marrying Jinge, sending people around to ask for relatives and friends. I don't want brother Jin to be hired by the garrison. The Zhang family wanted to break off the engagement, but they were afraid that the garrison would not allow it. However, when the garrison heard this, it came to insult and said that a daughter had promised several families and they were not allowed to break off their marriage, so she went to court to sue. The Zhang family went to Beijing to find a way out, but in anger, they insisted on withdrawing the ceremony.

Master Yun, our envoy of the times in Chang 'an, is closest to the Jia family. Lao Xu begged Wang Xifeng to let his wife tell him, and sent a book to Master Yun to tell the garrison that he was not afraid of the garrison.

As a monk, this empty old nun should be in charge of other people's litigation cases, which shows that she is neither clean nor empty, and she is not a monk who devotes herself to cultivation. What capital does a monk have to accept other people's lawsuits? This should start with the relationship between Shuiyue Temple and Jiafu.

As can be seen from the description in Chapter 7, the Jia family not only has Tiejian Temple, but also provides several temples offering incense and silver every month. Shuiyue Temple is one of them. Old ni of Shuiyue Temple often goes in and out of Jia's house with the information of his disciples to collect monthly money. This net loss is not just as simple as collecting money every month. She actively makes friends with powerful people, and it's not just the Jia family.

By the seventh time, Zhou Ruigu asked the intellectuals:

"When did you come? Where is your master bald? " "We came early in the morning," said the clever son. "My master saw his wife and went to the old man's house. He asked me to wait for her here. "

Judging from Zhou Rui's description of Xu Jing as "bald and crooked", Xu Jing is not a man of good conduct. A monk improperly practices Buddhism, but actively walks in the homes of various dignitaries. Moreover, she has a clear understanding of the relationship network between powerful people and knows what to ask.

This empty old man has no moral bottom line Breaking up other people's marriages has never been a courageous act, but in order to gain benefits from it, she spared no effort to bridge the gap.

Wang Xifeng doesn't want to take care of such a thing. "I won't wait for money to make money, nor will I do such a thing." Xifeng doesn't want to take care of this matter, not because it's immoral, but because she doesn't wait until she has money, so there's no need to take care of it. But on the other hand, it means that if I want to take care of it, you must bring money, and I won't take care of it for nothing.

However, Wang Xifeng's weakness was immediately caught by the old nun: "The Zhang family knows that I have come to ask for politics, but now I don't care. They don't know that they don't have time to take care of it, and they don't want his thanks, just as the government doesn't even have this idea. " Rainbow Xifeng, a capable person, was probably afraid that others would say that he was incompetent, and immediately fell into the trap of net loss to an old nun.

He said, "You have known me for a long time, and you never believe in what the nether world deserves. Why? I just said I would do it. You ask him to bring three thousand pieces of silver, and I'll give him this tone. " The old nun dared to say that Wang Xifeng couldn't do such a small thing, so Wang Xifeng tried to do it.

"Why, I said I would do it." This is power! Wang Xifeng's psychology is also changing quietly, from Ning's director assistant to Tiejian Temple's prankster. From the caution when accepting the task at the beginning, to the complacency when the management achieved initial results, and then to the pleasure of punishing the evil, she managed the affairs of the two governments in an orderly manner and was affirmed by the upper level. After that, her power almost reached the peak, and her courage became bigger and bigger.

Of course, search got the benefit of three thousand two hundred pieces of silver from the lawsuit, not because of her power and ability, but because Jia Fu's power and momentum outside are great. Search just borrow Jia Fu's momentum outside, please write a letter and take it to Chang 'an to save our time, and it will be done. She easily got the benefit of three thousand two hundred pieces of silver, but she killed a man and a woman. Wang Xifeng did not regret it, but she became more and more courageous. After what happened, she acted recklessly.

03

This Shuiyue Temple is really a place to hide evil people and evil people. Wang Xifeng talked with Xu Jing about "playing politics" in front, and Qin Zhong took advantage of the dark and clever children to "have fun" in the back room, completely ignoring the Buddhist rules and regulations.

Originally, they should have left after staying in Shuiyue Temple for one night, but Wang Xifeng stayed in Shuiyue Temple for another night with Baoyu and Qin Zhong. Stay for the night, they each have their own purposes. Baoyu felt very constrained at home and didn't want to go back after suffering for a while. Qin Zhong, who loves cleverness, is even more reluctant to leave, and advises Baoyu to beg Xifeng to stay for another day.

In fact, the search also wants to stay one more day. She can take this opportunity to complete the case entrusted by Xu Wang. Of course, such a thing must be kept from someone. It's definitely more convenient to do it outside than indoors.

Then he called Wang Erlai, a confidant, and told the story of Bai. Wang Er went into town to find the chief writer, wrote a letter under the guise of Jia Lian's instructions, and sent it to Chang 'an County overnight. Guang Yun has long seen Jia Fu's affection, and there is no reason not to approve of such a trivial matter. He also gave a book for Wang Er to take back.

After a day and a night, Qin Zhong secretly made many secret appointments with Smart, and finally could not bear to part, so he had to leave with a bitter heart.

Qin Zhong's interest in steamed bread temples turned out to be the root cause of Qin Zhong's death.

A timid teenager, unable to resist the impulse of lust, ignored the rules of Buddhism, stayed in the temple with wisdom and came back ill. Intelligence secretly fled into the city from Shuiyue Temple, and found Qin Zhong's home to see Qin Zhong, only to be noticed by Qin Bangye. Expelling information, beating Qin Zhong, I was so angry that my old illness recurred and I died in three or five days. Qin Zhong also died in regret.

Have you noticed? In fact, Wang Xifeng's power lies in Shantou Temple, but the title written by the author is "Wang Xifeng's Iron Threshold Temple". Why? Just because Tiexier Temple is close to Shantou Temple? Or just to be neat and avoid duplication? I don't think so either.

The iron threshold symbolizes wealth and power, while the earthen steamed bread symbolizes death. The pursuit of power is the pinnacle of Jia's wealth. Jia Fu is very powerful outside, and so is Qin Keqing's funeral. When search's power reached its peak, she managed the affairs of Rong Ning's two companies alone, and her management ability was fully demonstrated, and her courage became stronger and stronger. Therefore, it is a beginning for her and the reason why she planted it.

She doesn't believe in the karma of the underworld, but the karma will not stop because of her unbelief. The ninety-third time, when Wang Xifeng was ill, she heard Pinger say that something had happened to the steamed bread temple. She was horrified and spit out one mouthful blood.

During the two nights that Wang Xifeng stayed in Shantou Temple with Baoyu and Qin Zhong, one was playing politics and the other was having fun. It seems that they have all benefited, but in fact they have also laid a curse for themselves.

Qin Zhong's retribution came faster, but who can guarantee that Qin Zhong's ending is not a harbinger of Wang Xifeng's ending?

When Wang Xifeng was extremely rich and powerful, she instigated a pair of young men and women to die innocently for profit. Waiting for her is doomed to be the end of Qin Zhong.

What is the distance between life and death? If it is non-multi-line, the distance may be as close as Tiejian Temple to Mantou Temple.
