Genting village has been built three times. First, Guo Mengsi chose a site for the Guo family in Genting Village. In the fourth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, Guo Mengsi entered Sichuan from Macheng, Hubei Province and went to Genting Mountain. He accidentally picked up a laundry list and rolled down the mountain. Guo Mengsi saw the beautiful scenery around him, so he planted fields and settled down. The Guo family began to thrive in Genting Mountain. Secondly, in the ninth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, the 17th Guo confirmed the defensive function of Yundingzhai Military Fort. At that time, Li Yonghe and Lan Dashun, the leaders of the anti-Qing peasant uprising army, revolted in Yunnan, invaded Sichuan with great momentum, and many cities were captured. In this case, in order to save the lives of the people, Guo bought all Genting Mountain, recruited migrant workers, spent more than 20,000 taels of silver, demolished the original stone, used stone strips, and still built the village wall. The gate of the village is widened like a city gate. After the completion, it will be guarded by Zhaiding, where people's relatives and friends can take refuge. The third time was in the 20th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, and the 19th Guo of Guo family upgraded to Yunding Village. Guo thought the stockade was not strong and beautiful, so he spent a lot of money and two or three years to heighten the fence, expand the stockade area and improve the preventive measures, and built the largest manor-style thatched cottage in southern Sichuan at that time.

Walking into the gate of Genting Field is a street paved with bluestone slabs. Once prosperous, it has now been replaced by dilapidated buildings. There are no open days and no tourists. Walking on this ancient Longlu road, I saw the old man sitting at the door except that the Yundingzhai village Committee was open. This street is really not long, but the old man told me that the farmland at the end is the border of Lu Xian County. This end is "Longchang" and the other end is "Lu Xian". It's really appropriate to cross two counties with one foot.

The entrance of the village committee faces another street. This "Happy Valley Road" is connected with the stockade, and there are only two streets in Genting Field, forming a "D" shape. This street is more lively. This is a drugstore. Look at the old objects inside, but they are all genuine in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Genting market still retains a strange and mysterious custom of "morning market", which is also called "ghost market" every time it goes to market on the third, sixth and ninth day of the lunar calendar. At the top of Genting Village, at three or four o'clock in the morning, lanterns and torches came one after another along the forest paths of distant mountains and near mountains, and the streets and eaves were brightly lit. Bargaining between buyers and sellers, the host and guests argue more and less, and the noise is endless. At about six or seven in the morning, people left the scene and disappeared. Although the custom is still there, there are very few people coming to catch the play now, just like the people in the stockade.

There are really few tourists coming to Yundingzhai, and we really can't take the return bus. We came to the village committee, which consisted of only three people, but managed the whole Genting village. The secretary realized our difficulties and helped us call a car from town.
