College life, who can tell me about it?

My university summary when I graduated:

Once some things are no longer available, all we can do is not forget them.

Three years of college life are coming to an end (I went to a junior college^_^). Looking back on these three years, we took off the childish coat when we first entered school and put on a mature coat. The innocent boy has grown into a thoughtful and meaningful young man. Three years is a short period of time, but it has brought great changes to our lives and left an indelible impression in our hearts.

The following categories introduce my college life:

1. Impression of the school

When I first entered the school as a freshman, everyone was very disappointed with the school, because everyone was largely misled by some novels about college life on the Internet or in magazines. Many authors describe college life in a ridiculing tone, describing to readers an ideal university in their minds. Due to this misunderstanding, everyone will have an ideal description of their college life before entering college. But after entering a real university, I realized that the ideal and reality were too far apart. Our school is just a small branch thousands of miles away from the main campus, and the teaching facilities are as good as you can imagine, so I feel the same as everyone else. But time will slowly blend everything in, and over time, you will integrate yourself into it. Who would dislike their parents being ugly?

2. Study

Speaking of studying is really shameless. Among the majors I considered in high school, there was no computer field at all. I didn’t know much about computers at the time. I only knew that if my academic qualifications were not high enough in this industry, I would be in trouble. Nothing outstanding. Later, we failed to live up to expectations and got a very embarrassing score. There were not many ideal majors to choose from. When the batches of admissions ended and there was no hope, I was admitted to my last major - Computer and Applications. To be honest, I have to thank this school, otherwise I wouldn't be able to study.

I consider myself a diligent person. When I was a freshman, I actively went to self-study. I was the first among our group to take the self-study exam. However, as time went by, I became more and more lazy, and I couldn’t go to self-study often. I took less and less self-study exams until I finally gave up. I took the computer programmer exam, but missed it by a few points, and never took it again. Fortunately, our professional knowledge is not the worst among our group, but it is not the best either. The worst thing is that I haven't even passed CET-4 in English in my three years of college (but this will not affect my graduation, our school does not require CET-4 for graduation), and I am helpless about this. But when I heard that there were cases of people jumping off the building because they failed to pass Level 4 in other colleges and universities, I was confused and shocked. Later, I read the news and said that such a thing also happened in Wuhan in the south. What was shocking was that "Ma Jiajue" Incident"...

What happened to us? What happened to our generation of college students? Can anyone give us an answer? What drives us to death again and again. Suicide or be killed. Who can save us, like the college students many years ago, give us a belief, give us a reason to work hard, and give us an era of passion.

3. Club Life

I have a lot of feelings when talking about club life. I believe it will be difficult for students who have never participated in any organizations or activities to understand. Although I was very diligent and conscientious when I first arrived as a freshman, I was still very confused about the direction. I go to class every day with my books under my arm, and go to self-study in the evening. On Saturdays and Sundays, I sometimes go to the study room. Because apart from self-study, I didn’t know what else to do at that time. Later, the club recruited people, and I applied to several clubs with great excitement, including English Salon (my favorite), Drama Club, Literary Club, Martial Arts Association, and Computer Association. The club is not like the student union where you have to go through layers of screening. You can basically get in once you sign up, no problem. The life of the club is really busy and happy. English corners, speech contests, drama rehearsals, and daily morning martial arts exercises are all fulfilling and selfless. I also made a lot of friends during this process, which I feel is the most rewarding.

But then the situation worsened. It was time for the association's general election, and everyone who had some ideas wanted to be the next president of the association.

I signed up for many societies and it shouldn't be a problem to finally find a president, but I suddenly felt that this kind of competition was meaningless. Both sides were like frogs in the well. Even if the fight ended in death, what's the point of one party putting the other party to death? The meaning is only that the loser escapes from the well, or dies in the corner at the bottom of the well, or jumps out, while the winner continues to be a frog at the bottom of the well, thinking that the sky above it is its world. After all, the community is just a very narrow circle.

4. Food, clothing, housing and transportation

Going to college is naturally different from the life in high school where you could only wear school uniforms. This aspect is particularly obvious for girls. A freshman girl may not have made any substantial progress in professional knowledge or English by her junior year, but her appearance will definitely change dramatically. Of course, as a boy, you can't dress so well, but when you graduate from college, you will look completely different from when you came in.

It’s hard for me to talk about the food in the school cafeteria, but it’s really not very delicious. I think this also represents the views of most people. Later, the school invited bids to build a new cafeteria. , the situation will be better with competition. But there is a secret that our junior students in the next class don’t know: due to the shortage of land in the school, there is no room to build a new restaurant. Finally, some leader was cruel and demolished the toilet in the southeast corner of the school. After the semester, a new restaurant was erected, so every time we went to a new restaurant, we always had a strange mood, and we couldn't bear to tell its history to uninformed junior students. Later, I heard from my senior brother who graduated that our old restaurant was also a toilet before it was built. We were all shocked. It turns out that we are just uninformed people in a larger area...

Our accommodation environment is not like It's like a normal university, spacious and comfortable, and some even have broadband connections. Ours is an eight-person dormitory with limited power consumption. Later, the school built a new dormitory building and converted it into a six-person dormitory. The conditions were better, but it was not my problem. I didn't move there because there was an additional 300 yuan in accommodation fees every year.

I originally relied on walking to get around, but then I bought two bicycles and lost them both (this world is so helpless), so I simply returned to the original state of walking!

Although Tangshan and my home are only a few hundred miles apart, the climate is also different. The difference in temperature between day and night is large, which I have been uncomfortable with for a while. I had a "serious" illness, which was actually not a serious illness. However, the doctor at the school infirmary prescribed infusion for me for ten days. I really couldn't change my mind at that time, but I didn't have any illness in the next two years. It was thanks to those dozens of bottles of liquid back then, and now I think about it, I still have to thank them.

5. Part-time job

I was one of the first people to work in our major, but I was very unpromising. My first job was to help sell food in the school cafeteria. I didn’t mention the salary because I was afraid of embarrassment. Later, I realized that when working, I must find a job that can train my abilities, and I found two companies in the society to do business development work. To put it bluntly, I promoted it door to door and earned some commissions from it. When I was in my junior year of college, a classmate took over the job of recruiting students for a training school. He said he couldn't do it, so he took me and worked with him for a year. It is true that working part-time can help you gain a little knowledge and ability, and you can also earn some pocket money, but in the words of Shanghainese, these are just "drizzle" and of little use.

6. Winning Awards

I don’t like to rush forward when things go wrong, so of course I haven’t won any major awards. I don’t like the smell of gunpowder that comes with competition. But I am well-deserved as an outstanding club member. Oh, there was also a fire prevention knowledge essay competition, and I unexpectedly won the third prize. From then on, there was nothing more.

7. Roommate-Friend-Girlfriend

The relationship in the dormitory was not very active when I was a freshman. As the contact deepened, the relationship in the dormitory became more freely controlled. Later, I transferred to dormitories several times. When the relationship between roommates was deserted, I They have always taken the initiative to ease the awkward atmosphere. This is naturally my strong point as I am a good talker.

In school, I also know a lot of people who are not in my class and major. Some of them are from clubs, and some of them are due to my personality of making friends. Among these friends, there are both men and women, but some people only pay attention to the part of the opposite sex. This is also in line with people's normal logical thinking. On a piece of white paper with only one black dot, more people see only the black dot, but ignore the larger white paper.

I really don’t want to say anything about love, because it’s too bitter.

In high school, love was a luxury that only a few people could afford. In the college days, love was an everyday commodity, not too shabby. I also had a brief love affair, which was extremely short-lived. It ended with her graduation and departure. Later, I finally thought about it and understood a truth that everyone should understand: "Chasing girls has always been a simple thing. If you feel that it is difficult to chase, you are probably chasing the wrong person. If a girl, you It’s better to try your best to catch up than not to catch up. Because it’s so hard to have a girlfriend. Your love is unequal from the beginning. The reason why she hesitates to agree to you. , In my original consciousness, I just felt that you were not worthy of her." Later, I gradually tried to hide my true self to avoid being hurt again. Who doesn’t grow up with hurt? Who doesn’t learn to calculate after being deceived? each other.

Friends who are lucky enough to read my article, please remember: career is far more important than love. If career cannot be eternal, then love can only be regarded as short-lived.

8. Work

Regarding work, I don’t have much say. I am about to graduate and I haven’t found a job yet. I have only attended a few job fairs in a pretentious manner. But no matter what, I think I won’t stay in this city any longer. Three years is enough for my personality, so it’s time to change places.

I also have great aspirations for work, just like my aspirations for college in high school.

There is a kind of optimism called blindness. I wish I wasn't like this.
