Hemudu Banpo people

Yangshao culture:

Yangshao culture is an important Neolithic painted pottery culture in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, which lasted from about 5000 BC to about 3000 BC (that is, from about 7000 to 5000 years ago, lasting for about 2000 years) and distributed in the middle reaches of the Yellow River from today's Gansu Province to Henan Province.

Yangshao culture was first discovered at the site of Yangshao Village in Mianchi County, Henan Province. Yangshao Village Site is located in Yangshao Township, Mianchi County, which is 10 km away from the county seat. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, showing a gentle slope. There are deep ditches on the east and west sides of the site, Shaoshan in the north and water in the east, west and south.
