A few days ago, I drove along the Yalu River with my friends. Along the way, this magical sentence The lyrics always linger in my mind.

Jilin has two very special border self-driving tour routes, one is along the Yalu River and the other is along the Tumen River. This time we walked along the Yalu River, from Changchun to Baishan City, then to Changbai County under Baishan City, and then all the way west, passing through Linjiang City, to Ji'an City under Tonghua City.

Many people know that the winter in the Northeast is beautiful, and many people think that the Northeast is very suitable for summer escape. But in fact, I have always believed that the most beautiful season should be autumn, the season when the forests are soaked in color, and the mountains are full of red. Yellow leaves flutter in the wind.

Since Jilin is the main birthplace of the Manchus, when the Manchus ruled China, they closed the Changbai Mountain area, the main birthplace, for more than 200 years. Although it was gradually liberalized later, the natural scenery here and the vast virgin forest are very beautiful. When the red leaves come in autumn, there are really many beautiful places to view the scenery.

Of course, viewing is one aspect, and seeing the other side is also one of the highlights of travel. The Yalu River is not wide, and you can see clearly on the other side. Most places are just small villages with few houses. However, in Ji'an City and Changbai County, the cities on the other side are relatively large, especially in Changbai County, where the cities on the other side can be seen clearly. If it is daytime, you can clearly see the houses and guards on duty on the other side of the river in Changbai County. However, at night, Changbai County is one of the most brightly lit cities among the counties I have been to (no other city seems to be particularly bright). , while it was pitch black on the other side, and the few lights might have been reflected from the windows. This reminds us of the scenes in the movie Eight Hundred Miles that we just watched not long ago, the different scenes on both sides of the Sihang Warehouse.

Changbai County is not big, but it is well planned. There are long running paths for people to walk and run, and the small place is quiet and peaceful. Ji'an City is a city that I like very much. Although it is small, it still looks very prosperous. Especially the city's sanitation is very good and very clean. The lights on the upper floors of the community are made into various shapes of characters and animals. It is beautiful to watch at night. Looks cute. Another good habit is that people who drive cars are very good at implementing it. Here, almost everyone is driven by cars. When you come here, you must also sign up for a boat tour to take a cruise on the Yalu River. You can see the other side of the river more clearly. The tour guide on the boat can also tell many interesting stories about the other side.

Between the starting point and the end point, there are many scenic spots connected. If you are traveling by car, it is very convenient to go there and have a look. For example, Wangswan Scenic Area, Valley, Maple Forest on the Ridge, and Sifangding are all very beautiful. One night, I stayed at Laosanqiao, a hot spring resort near the river. When I woke up in the morning and looked out the window, I saw rows of cabins and shady trees. The scenery was beautiful. Since we arrived too late, we didn't go to the hot springs. It would have been nice to go to the hot springs.

There is a special place that I would like to recommend, which is the Yajiang Valley Winery in Tonghua. Tonghua is famous for its wine production, which is at the same latitude as French wine. Although it is not well-known, I often drank it when I was a child. Although the Yajiang Valley does not receive many tourists and there is no wine tasting, it is really beautiful here. The vineyards are combined with the Yalu River, and it is as beautiful as a painting.

Our motherland is very big, and although many places are beautiful, they are still unknown. If you slowly experience it, you will find that the beauty of the motherland is touching to your heart.
