My after-school life is like planting flowers and writing compositions.
My home has a big balcony, so my father always likes to plant some flowers and plants here. Probably influenced by my father, I also like to grow flowers, and now it has developed into my hobby, which gives me an elegant taste of "stealing a half-day leisure" in addition to intense study.
Speaking of the first flower I raised, it was narcissus. I was about seven or eight years old then! It was very cold that winter. My father and I went to the flower and bird market to buy bulbs of daffodils. At that time, I thought that the garlic-like things my father bought could not grow flowers, but I was cheated. Only when I got home did I know that it had to undergo a special "treatment" to remove a thick brown skin, so the green shoots poked their heads out like green elves. I suddenly realized. So he volunteered to dig and plant flowers. Dad laughed my head off after listening, and it took a long time to tell me with tears that daffodils grow in water. I, a "big foreigner", actually said that I would plant it in the soil and made a big joke in front of my dad. Only through this incident did I know that raising flowers is not as simple as I thought. You must have rich knowledge and experience in flower cultivation in order to grow flowers well. So I worshipped my father as a teacher and started my "road of growing flowers". With this lesson, I stopped acting rashly. Since then, my thirst for knowledge has become stronger than before.
I have always loved dealing with flowers and plants, and naturally there are a few pots of flowers on the balcony to decorate my plain life. Although there are many flowers, there are no exotic flowers and plants, only cactus, tiger thorn plum and other well-cultivated flowers and plants. In my spare time, I take watering this tree and moving that pot as a great pleasure!
Planting flowers is a delicate job, but I never regard it as a hassle, just as a pleasure in life and a way to cultivate sentiment. My family lives in the countryside, which provides a good environment for growing flowers. Fertile soil can be filled everywhere to catch up with sericulture, and silkworm excrement can be used as nourishment. Therefore, flowers grow more energetic and be elated when they are appreciated. The balcony is not big, so the space is even smaller for hanging clothes. When a dozen pots of flowers are placed on it, they become full, just enough for people to pass through. Even so, I am keen on growing flowers. For this reason, I polluted the balcony, and I was nagged by my mother, but I don't think so. I just drag the balcony silently, and then drag it the next day, doing the same thing diligently every day. For me, this is both labor and enjoyment.
Life is long. For these flowers and plants, I seem to have met intimate friends, and I can tell them all their sadness, laughter, bitterness and sweetness. The flowerpot bears my past glory and sadness. Isn't this happy? I won't feel lonely with these silent friends. We share happiness and suffer together. This made me deeply fall in love with these flowers and plants, brought life to my brush strokes, brought soul to my articles, and made me active in writing, freed mentally and relaxed mentally. Living with them gives me an indescribable taste.
Flowers, flowers, everywhere is full of fun, so life is no longer boring, feeling no longer lonely and depressed, and life is no longer lonely and painful!
