At about 9:30 in the morning, we left the hotel and prepared to set off.

It takes less than an hour to reach Qinghai Lake from Haiyan. Drive faster, even half an hour is enough. However, this is only the road along the lake. It will take nearly three hours to actually reach the lake.

Because we did not understand the road conditions, we were worried that the vehicle would not be able to reach the lake. You may have to get out of the car and walk across the road.

Later, it turned out that we were worried too much.

Although the morning sun shines brightly, the frost covering the car has not yet dissipated.

When the door is opened, it makes a clicking sound, just like human bones becoming brittle and breaking when broken.

This is no joke. Vehicles may be as fragile as humans, or even more so.

For example, after a night, the hood of the car froze and cracked.

When my friend discovered that the front cover of the car was cracked by frost, he was a little panicked and immediately looked inside.

Once there are signs of frost cracking inside, you will be in big trouble.

I checked it and luckily it was fine, but I don’t dare to be careless and need to warm up the car for a while.

While I was warming up the car, I went to buy water.

To northerners, it may not be a big deal, but this is the first time I have been in such low temperatures.

However, although the temperature was low, it didn't feel very cold. Maybe I wore enough clothes, or maybe it was because the air was relatively dry.

If you are in Guangzhou, as long as the temperature is as low as five or six degrees, accompanied by humid air, it will be bone-chilling.

For the first time, I felt the sub-zero temperature, surrounded by the warm sunshine. This experience made me excited beyond words.

The only way is to take a selfie.

While taking a selfie, I also said silently: Good morning! Haiyan.

So, on the way to the grocery store, I took a lot of selfies.

Some photos were taken at the green bus shelter on the roadside.

I am very interested in this green bus shelter.

The bus shelter is dark green, smooth, brand-new, and has an urban feel. It really does not match the environment of the grassland hills and Haiyan, which is like a temporary housing area.

Moreover, Haiyan is so small and like an empty city, making this bus shelter seem to be in the wrong place.

From the green bus shelter, I can’t help but think of what the daily bus operation here is like.

Some passengers are dressed like us, and some are dressed like Tibetans. They are not carrying big travel backpacks and are not in a hurry. They are just carrying small bags and carrying bags to and from work, shopping for groceries, and shopping. .

In fact, when you travel during the holidays, you often don’t feel the daily atmosphere. Either you are in a tourist area with huge crowds of people, or like Haiyan, you don’t see one or two people along the way, which is normal.

I prefer to travel during non-holidays.

When I came back from buying water, I took a walk to Haiyan in the morning.

The streets were still empty.

I made a special trip around the county government office, but I still didn’t see anyone.

Suddenly, someone walked out around the corner.

In broad daylight, I was startled.

I don’t know if he was sneaky or he thought I was sneaky, but the man glanced at me, which reminded me that the people in the city had evil intentions and were planning to attack us.

Back at the parking lot, the car warming time is over.

We got in the car and set off towards Qinghai Lake.

On the way out of Haiyan, there is a piece of withered yellow grassland on both sides of the road.

Cows were walking slowly on the roadside in twos and threes.

The journey was short and took less time than expected.

We crossed the hill and looked into the distance. A corner of Qinghai Lake appeared, shining.
