What is true maturity?

Chen Guo, a teacher from Fudan University, gave a speech about maturity and aging. I was deeply impressed by a few words:

People often say maturity, but maturity is not sophisticated and smooth; Maturity has nothing to do with age, nor is it old.

People often say aging, but it should be interpreted separately. Aging is the degradation of human spirit, but it will always be the degradation of human body.

It is always about the physiological level and the phenomenon world; Maturity is about the psychological level and spiritual world; They belong to two different dimensions. That makes perfect sense. What we can't change is getting old, but there is one force that can resist this decline, and that is growth.

One day our bodies will break, but it doesn't matter. As long as we keep growing spiritually, we will become more and more real, better and more beautiful.

A truly mature soul, like a beam of light, not only nourishes the extension of a person's life, but anyone close to TA is close to the light.
