The characteristics of Su Shi's running script style

In our literary history, there is one person who can be compared with Li Bai and Du Fu, and that is Su Shi in the Song Dynasty. When many people first knew Su Shi, it was often because they read Song Ci, and then they read Su Shi's Ci, such as Nostalgia for the Red Cliff, Water Regulating Song Tou and other well-known words. If you know Su Shi deeply, you will see that he is a big coffee in the field of literature and art. He is not only an excellent poet, but also the pioneer of the bold and unconstrained ci style in the Song Dynasty. In the words of his apprentice Huang Tingjian, it was the stone that pressed the toad, and Su Shi also teased Huang Tingjian that there was a dead snake hanging on the tree. Su Shi's calligraphy is characterized by thick ink, and the second feature is flat font. As for his writing skills, if you are careful, you can find that his writing skills are not very fast, but rather slow.

What is his writing method? In fact, his writing method was ridiculed by others in the Song Dynasty, but it still did not affect his achievements in calligraphy. Maybe he has a point. I don't know if anyone thinks about it the other way around. In fact, the way we grasp ballpoint pens is quite scientific!

Also, the way he writes often makes people laugh. His posture is prone on the table, and his elbow is always on the table. This practice is completely different from that of modern calligraphers. Most modern calligraphers write standing, with straight backs and elbows resting on the table, which is ten thousand times more handsome than Su Shi. Su Shi, on the other hand, doesn't care about good posture. The point is, can he write straighter than you? In fact, writing on one's stomach is better than straight waist, and Su Shi's posture is more in line with the key requirements.
