The original name of the unit was Immigration Committee, and later it was renamed Zhangbei County State-owned Tractor Station 1963, and it became Zhangbei County Agricultural Machinery Bureau, because at that time, the power plant used large diesel engines as power to generate electricity, which was managed by the Agricultural Machinery Bureau, even the flour processing machine introduced at that time. Horse-drawn harvesters are all managed and distributed by the Agricultural Machinery Bureau. 1952, the state established Chabei Ranch in Zhangbei. Zhangbei county state-owned tractor station was formally established in March 1955. The first stationmaster was Liu Chaohu, deputy secretary of the Standing Committee of Zhangbei County Committee. The diesel tractor introduced at that time was also the first one in Hebei Province. 1954 the country imported six tractors from Hungary at a large price. At that time, people had never seen a tractor, but they saw this iron guy for the first time, which caused a sensation in the whole county and countryside. But it reflected people's ignorance of agricultural machinery at that time, and later it was more called agricultural machinery man. Some are called workers' eldest brother, and some are called people who drive tractors. In fact, the official names of our agricultural workers are tractor drivers and agricultural workers.

We call the people who participated in agricultural machinery work from 1954 to 1957 the first generation of agricultural machinery workers. From 1958 to 1964, they are called the second generation farmers. 1965 to 1970 are collectively called the third generation of agricultural mechanization.

At that time, most of those engaged in agricultural machinery systems were transferred from other places. In the past, Zhangjiakou Agricultural Machinery School was originally named Zhangjiakou Agricultural School. That is, the predecessor of Zhangjiakou Agricultural Machinery School. It is managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Hebei Province. The original site was in Deshengbao, Zhangjiakou, and then moved to Shaling Town. During my stay in Shalingzi, I took classes at Ning Yuanbao Temple. In the early days of liberation, my school studied forestry. This country lacks talents in agricultural machinery. These students later transferred to the major of agricultural machinery. After graduation, most of them were assigned to work in Chabei Ranch and Zhangbei Tractor Station, which was the first batch of professionals trained in New China. At the same time, a group of officers and men transferred from the Korean battlefield to the local area were mostly car soldiers, artillery and tank soldiers. They know a little about machinery.
