These people dare not go back to Hakkas underground, so they pretend to be beggars and carry them home to visit relatives in the name of fleeing famine.

I heard that Zhu Yuanzhang was dissatisfied with some people in northern Jiangsu who wanted to go to Hakkas in advance and behead them all. At this time, a minister on Zhu Yuanzhang's side came up with a way to save those people. He advised Zhu Yuanzhang to say that he was a master of Suzhou, expecting Zhu Yuanzhang to show mercy to the people in Nagato, Suzhou, and then immediately told the immigrants in northern Jiangsu that he was a master and could eliminate the evil.

In fact, according to relevant historical records, Huai 'an Prefecture received 230,000 immigrants and Yangzhou Prefecture received 220,000 immigrants from Suzhou. These areas include Jiangdu, Yizheng, Gaoyou, Taizhou, Taixing, Baoying, Xinghua, Rugao, Tongzhou, Haimen (the geographical category is roughly equivalent to today's Yangzhou and Nantong), Yang Shan, Qinghe, Yancheng, Anton, Taoyuan and Shuyang.

Thus, in the early Ming Dynasty, northern Jiangsu accepted about 450,000 Suzhou immigrants, accounting for 34% of the total number in the early period. In order to appease the new immigrants, the Ming Dynasty supplied excellent varieties of farm tools to the immigrants from Nagato, Suzhou, and implemented a tax-free policy to take back the aborigines who had moved out because of the war. On the other hand, it is said that Zhu Yuanzhang moved the poor in the south of the Yangtze River to northern Jiangsu for land reclamation, not only to meet the needs of economic development, but also to combat the support of the gentry and people in Gusu, Songjiang, Jiaxing and Wang Fu for Zhang Shicheng. Therefore, Wang Fu drove 400,000 people to northern Jiangsu on the grounds of immigration development, which also left a historical case-solving for ancestors.
