"East Teachers Laugh at Poverty"

"Teachers laugh at poverty" is a nickname given to teachers by our classmates.

"Dong Shi" is because our teacher graduated from Northeast Normal University, and "Laugh" is because he often tells jokes to himself and then laughs at himself (although he tells them to us, we feel it is not funny at all, and it is a bit cold and embarrassing); "Poverty" means that once he told us a joke about a poor man who slipped on a snowy day, and then he laughed again.

this nickname was given to him by the boys in our class, and I think it is very appropriate. hahaha.

The last time he told a joke about the poor man who slipped on a snowy day, he happened to be standing in front of my seat talking about electrical appliances. I kept looking up at him, but I was too embarrassed to smile. I thought my smile was natural, but later my classmate said that my smile was embarrassing and that I was "frozen".
