What is old-age worship?

Worship the old: the fifth to fifteenth day.

New Year's greetings from the fifth day of the first month to the fifteenth day of the first month are called New Year's greetings, and the New Year in China usually lasts from the first day to the fifth day. After the fifth day, it is called breaking the fifth day, and the year is over, so it is called old-age worship after the fifth day.

From day one to day five:

1. Don't take a nap during the day: Taking a nap during the New Year means being lazy all year round. The implication is that many guests go home to pay New Year greetings during the Chinese New Year, so it is impolite for you to take a nap.

2. avoid dumping sewage, garbage and sweeping the floor: don't sweep the floor during the new year, because it is easy to take away the wealth at home.

3. Don't take things from other people's pockets: Don't let people take things from their own pockets during the Chinese New Year, which means that money will be taken away by others for the whole year.

4. Avoid asking for debts: During the Chinese New Year, people who are asked for debts or ask for debts from others will have bad luck for a whole year, so it is forbidden to ask for debts from others.
