Why is it becoming more and more difficult and expensive to get a driver’s license?

The main reason for my personal understanding: the need for public safety.

If you think about it carefully, it is actually an illusion that the examination is difficult and the cost is high.

We can move this matter a bit to understand more clearly the difficulty of getting a driver’s license today.

Processing, formalization, and high standards are the main features of current examinations, but we all lament that when it is difficult now, why don’t we think about why we didn’t prepare in advance.

1. The concept of bonus period

There is a bonus period for a learner’s driver’s license. This sounds like a joke.

But when you think about it carefully, the first group of people to have driver's licenses are the ones we look back on now - the group of people who are envious. Have they enjoyed the first wave of dividends?

There are many vehicles, large volumes, and many accidents, which are one of the essential reasons for the introduction of stricter verification regulations. High-standard assessment is to ensure safety from the source and reduce various traffic accidents. Think about the "street killers" all over the streets, what a terrifying scene it is.

From this perspective, the exam is difficult, which is a good thing. If a traffic accident occurs due to poor technique, does it make sense to later regret not practicing properly?

Dividends are mostly awarded to the first batch of people to eat crabs.

2. The importance of foresight

Faced with the current high housing prices, most people regret not buying a few units in the first place.

Faced with rising stocks, most people beat their chests for not adding more positions at that time.

Facing the demolition of gourmet restaurants, most people miss the fact that they did not eat there more often.

So, there is a cognitive issue here. With this pace that is one step slower than reality, life is always on the road of catching up, and it is inevitable to be tired.
