Which of the three major operators is better in the era of 4G network?

To be honest, the 4G era has indeed brought beauty to people's lives; However, if the signal coverage is low, everything will be in vain. In addition to the base stations owned by the three major operators, the standards of 4G networks are also the main factors affecting coverage.

2. Internet speed

Of course, the above data can not be completely used as a reference condition for judging signal quality and network speed. Technical factors are also very important: for example, China Unicom uses international mainstream European technology, and telecommunications uses American communication technology, but relatively few.

3. Price

As we all know, since the application of 4G network, it has been the object of people's spit for a long time. The phrase "the house belongs to the operator overnight" has also become a talk after dinner. Although it was just a joke, the price of the earliest 4G package was not cheap, and even the Minister of Industry and Information Technology admitted it.

At present, the three major operators are vigorously developing 4G networks. Under the premise of fierce competition, 4G networks should gradually lower the entry threshold. Otherwise, under the impact of the popularity of wireless WIFI and the weakening of terminal hardware differences, users will not be willing to be slaughtered.

According to statistics, China Mobile has built the world's largest TD-LTE technology standard 4G network with 940,000 base stations. China Telecom has built the world's largest 4G network with FDDLTE technical standards, with 460,000 base stations; China Unicom also implements 3G/4G cooperative operation, and adopts a "dual 4G network" in the form of TD-LTE and FDD-LTE hybrid networking, with more than 650,000 3G and 4G base stations.

According to the classification of 4G international standards, FDD-LTE should be the highest and fastest, with wider base station coverage, and also suitable for wide-area coverage such as suburbs, highways and railways. However, there is only a small difference between FDD (frequency division duplex) and TD (time division duplex) in LTE standard, and the similarity reaches 90%. Therefore, TD-LTE saves channel resources and is suitable for hot spot coverage.

With the LTE network coverage of the three major operators basically completed, the industrial chain has gradually developed terminal products supporting VoLTE, and users have higher and higher requirements for voice quality, which urgently requires voice calls to enter a new era. In other words, the audio and video calls under the 4G network need VoLTE technology.
