When to use traditional Chinese characters in calligraphy works

All calligraphy works should use traditional Chinese characters.

In many cursive scripts, there will be many "simplified characters", which are not really simplified characters, but cursive scripts, such as books, cursive scripts in many ancient book posts, which are written very much like the characters of modern calligraphy, with gold characters next to them and modern gold characters of cursive scripts next to them, and so on.

However, in traditional Chinese writing, many places need attention, such as the cloud. When it comes to weather, clouds need traditional Chinese characters and rain, while the ancient cloud word Ziyun does not need traditional Chinese characters, just like modern clouds. For example, Hou, Empress and Hou Yi refer to the largest common terms, and they use the same modern simplified forms as Hou, Hou, Hou and Li.

I am also a calligraphy lover, so I know a little. Simple and complicated calligraphy is the most taboo. Many modern "calligraphers" don't understand the application of traditional Chinese characters and often misuse them, which leads to jokes.

For example, Grandpa Bi wrote a picture of the queen of the world, which later used the traditional style, which attracted jokes and made headlines.

Some words have multiple traditional meanings and have different usages when referring to different meanings.
