He made a strategic plan for Zhu Yuanzhang to destroy Zhang Shicheng and Chen Youliang first and then the Yuan Dynasty, which helped Zhu Yuanzhang to establish a unified Ming Dynasty. Because of his achievements, he was appointed as an imperial minister and official in the early Ming Dynasty and was awarded sincere honor.
