Is it reliable to repel mosquitoes with sound waves?

It is reported that the popular mosquito repellent mobile phone software and "sound wave mosquito repellent" in summer adopt the principle of sound wave mosquito repellent, and the mosquito repellent effect is good.

In fact, the vibration frequency of mosquito wings is about 250 to 1000 times per second. Even if a certain frequency band of sound waves can really drive away some mosquitoes, it can't be effective for all mosquitoes.

In fact, foreign scholars have tested three kinds of ultrasonic mosquito repellent devices in different frequency bands, and the results show that these devices can not effectively repel mosquitoes. The US Federal Trade Commission and the National Environmental Protection Agency conducted a rigorous review of ultrasonic mosquito repellent products, and the results showed that there was no evidence to prove that these devices were effective.

As for the so-called mobile phone mosquito repellent App software that can emit ultrasonic waves, it is a big joke. These App softwares can't release ultrasonic waves at all, and most people can't hear ultrasonic waves at all. Let's take 10,000 steps back. Assuming that ultrasonic electronic mosquito repellent is really effective, people have to receive ultrasonic waves for a long time to prevent mosquitoes, which is very harmful to human health.
