City Impression|My Yunyang on the Waterside

Recommended editor: Muganan

Reason for recommendation: Incorporate city business cards into the narrative plot to highlight the impression of the city in what you see and hear. It is like the colorful thread of the author's hands slowly shaking the city image kite, and all the beautiful scenery related to the city image such as Peach Piece Cake, Dragon's Back Stone, Zhang Fei Temple, and Ticheng have already become a unique line in the vast blue sky. Beautiful scenery.

On the side of the water, my Yunyang, Muganan’s best recommendations and sharing!

Yunyang is a noun that first stayed in my childhood memory. When I mention Yunyang, I will think of peach slice cake, and my two brothers and some old memories will come to mind. At that time, my father was purchasing raw materials in a silk spinning factory and often went on business trips to surrounding counties. Every time he went to Yunyang, he would bring us local peach slice cake. We brothers divided the food we got and enjoyed our portion.

The eldest brother ate quickly and there was nothing left in his hand. When he saw that I still had some in my hand, he and his second brother tricked me into eating some and made some promises that could not be fulfilled. He took pity on me. He was young and ignorant, and was deceived into eating peach slice cake, and he foolishly took back a promise. Later, I became more and more trouble-free. I recalled the promise I made a long time ago. When I failed to fulfill my wish, I cried loudly and chased my brother and shouted: "Give me back my peach slice cake! Give back my peach slice cake!" This joke was passed down by my parents and two other people. My brother often mentioned it, and every time he recalled it, something funny came to his mind. The sweet peach slice cake was smeared with the rich colors of his childhood.

I still remember this peach slice cake. It is thin, slightly crispy and melts in your mouth. I like the melt-in-your-mouth texture. It is sweet and fragrant, full of the fragrance of walnuts, and a little chewy. Yunyang is associated with delicious food, and it makes people feel like they live there. But Yunyang only set foot there for the first time many years later.

The first time I set foot in Yunyang, I was with teacher Ding Yaoting. The main purpose was to collect the dragon's spine stone in Yunyang County and observe the rubbings. At that time, Chongqing was not directly under the jurisdiction of the Yangtze River. Yunyang was located on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in Wanxian City. There were cars, but most of the time we took the waterway. We took a boat down the river and dangled in the river, bumping for several hours before we arrived. . Entering the boundary of Yunyang, Teacher Ding acted as a tour guide for me on the deck. He knew exactly where the Pengxi River, the Tangxi River, and the Modao River were. After getting off the pier, we walked to the shore. At that time, Yunyang was still an old county town, with low houses and only one street. It was quite narrow and crowded, with busy traffic and noisy people. In addition, the gray sky in winter made it not feel too fresh.

The next day we went directly to the river and took a boat across the river to the center of the river. It was a winter day, but not very cold. The Dragon's Back Stone is a reef in the middle of the Yangtze River opposite Yunyang County. During the dry months of winter and spring, the Dragon's Back Stone comes out and appears in front of the world. Originally, the stone was quite ordinary, but it is not an ordinary stone. The heavy history has left a heavy mark on it and given it new meaning. When Teacher Ding and I first set foot on the Dragon's Back Stone, we didn't feel that it was special at first. It was no different from ordinary river stones. But when you look carefully, you will find that there are many differences between the stone under your feet. Because it is covered with large and small stone carvings, the earliest ones are from the Song Dynasty, the Republic of China, and the Cultural Revolution period. We happily took photos and slowly enjoyed them.

Unknowingly, the sun also came out, and more and more people came to the Dragon's Back Stone, taking advantage of the warm winter sunshine to come to the center of the river and stroll on this magical stone. Stopping to admire the stone carvings and review history can be considered a kind of entertainment.

There is a famous scenic spot opposite Yunyang County, namely Zhangfei Temple. That day, Teacher Ding and I finished our work and decided to visit Zhang Fei Temple. Take a boat to the opposite side of the county seat, look up at Zhangfei Temple, and see a building with white walls and eaves, hidden among the green trees. As we get closer, there are four majestic characters "Jiang Shang Feng Qing". Zhang Fei Temple is built on the mountain, quiet and beautiful.

We walked up the bluestone steps and there was a Shipingba. The step on the right was the gate of Zhang Henghou Temple. There were some incense stands on the right and a big bell. You can pay to hit it. Maybe your luck will be better after the collision.

Entering the gate, the interior is antique, paved with bluestone steps, simple and quiet. There are several colorful sculptures on the right side. Those who are familiar with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms will immediately understand that this is the "Three Swordsmen in Taoyuan". There are many calligraphy inscriptions on the second floor, including calligraphy works by Yan Zhenqing and Huang Tingjian, which made us secretly admire. With its eaves, pavilions and carved beams and painted buildings, it is not only a temple in memory of Zhang Henghou, but also a landscape garden. Today's Zhangfei Temple has been completely relocated due to the construction of the Three Gorges Project. It was located on the other side of Yunyang New County and completely relocated and rebuilt. It is no different from the original Zhangfei Temple. This pearl between the Three Gorges is known as the "Best Scenic Spot of Bashu and a Resort of Cultural and Algae". Today, it still shines brightly on the bank of the Yangtze River.

I never thought that many years later, I would come to Yunyang to work and live. I still remember that I visited Yunyang again in 2009. At that time, Yunyang County had already moved to the new county seat and was connected to Wanzhou by expressway. It was only an hour's drive away, so the round trip was within easy reach. Yunyang at that time was already a different scene compared with the ancient county town. The brand-new new town is built against the mountains, with tall buildings and neat streets. It is clean and beautiful. Mopanzhai still stands tall and towering, overlooking the earth; Longjiling Park is built on the mountain, with winding walking trails; Binjiang Park is lined with green trees, and the beautiful scenery makes people forget to leave.

On the day before I left, there was a sudden heavy rain. I stood in a pavilion to take shelter from the rain. I looked at the heavy rain, which instantly soaked the city. Outside the pavilion, there was the mighty Yangtze River, this ancient city. The long river flows endlessly, taking away history and the past, but what cannot be taken away are certain feelings. I wonder if she is also lamenting the changes in this city like a sea of ??mulberry fields?

Time flies, through the hard work and hard work of the people of Yunyang. The new county town of Yunyang is once again undergoing tremendous changes with each passing day. The new county town has been built into the Three Gorges Staircase 4A Scenic Area, which has the Guinness World Record for the world's largest urban herringbone stone stairway. The Longgang Scenic Area is crowded with visitors since its opening, and the enthusiasm of tourists is unprecedentedly high. The glass covered bridge, Qishan grassland, and big swings attract countless tourists. The greenway around the lake stretches for 35 kilometers, like a dazzling green belt, making the banks of the Yangtze River particularly green and fragrant. Moonlight Lawn Park, Fuxing Park, and Shilaihuan Park are dotted among them, shining like gems.

Looking at Yunyang from the south bank of the Yangtze River, under the towering Mopan Village, there are rows of high-rise buildings, and a modern new city is rising in the northern new area. At night, the county is full of lights. The lights on the Yangtze River Bridge are bright and the subtitles are dazzling. The lights of the buildings were reflected on the edge of the Yangtze River, creating layers of light and haloing water waves, rendering the night like an intoxicating dream. The entire new county is shining on the edge of the Yangtze River.

The Yangtze River is thousands of miles long, and Yunyang is born there. Yunyang is my second hometown, and I sincerely admire and like Yunyang. I like my Yunyang that shines like a gem on the side of the water.
