Wenfeng Park
The first open park in Guizhou, built in 1999, was transformed from the original 85 acres of farmland and gradually became the leisure center of Duyun people. There is Wenfeng Pagoda in the park, and Wenfeng Park is also named after it. According to the records of the stone tablet under the tower, this tower was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Originally a five-story wooden tower, it was destroyed for a long time. In the 19th year of Qing Daoguang (1839), Tao Tingjie, the provincial judge of Gansu, donated silver 1200 taels to build the tower on the original tower foundation. Later, Chen Xiqiao, the magistrate of Duyun, and Zhong Haimen, the magistrate of a county, raised 2,200 taels of silver to build a stone tower on the original tower foundation, and renamed it Wenfeng Tower. The tower body is expanded to seven floors, and there is a stone tower platform with a diameter of 9.5 meters at the bottom and a height of 33 meters. It is the only stone pagoda in Guizhou that has been listed in the ancient pagoda of China.
one hundred children bridge
Duyun Baizi Bridge, also called Tangjiaqiao, was built on the Jianjiang River in the north of the city. The bridge is140m long, 8m wide and1/0.5m high. Its structure is a seven-hole stone arch bridge. Because of its long history, it has been expanded and decorated many times and has become a model of Duyun Bridge. So Duyun has a jingle "Duyun Bridge".
Ancient times:
In the fifty-first year of Qianlong (1786), Tang Wensheng donated money to build a bridge on the Jianjiang River in the north of the city, which took five years to complete. Built in the fifty-sixth year of Qianlong (179 1), it is a famous Baizi Bridge. Because of his kindness in repairing the bridge, Sun Tingxiang, the local magistrate, wrote a plaque for him.
Tang Wensheng's descendants built a pavilion on the bridge and named it "Songcui Pavilion". Hong, a famous historian who was studying politics in Guizhou at that time, went to the pavilion to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river bank, wrote a poem, and wrote the poem "Climbing Jianhe to Songcui Pavilion and looking at the mountains in the northwest".
Songcui Pavilion was destroyed in Xianfeng five years (1855) because of the war. Thirty years later, in the eleventh year of Guangxu (1885), Tang Zefang, a descendant of the Tang family, restored the bridge pavilion. At that time, Luo Fengyi, governor of Duyun, imitated the plaque written by his predecessors and gave it to the Tang family as a reward for this kindness.
In the late Qing Dynasty, Jianjiang River was flooded frequently and the bridge foundation was damaged. Tang Wensheng, the original bridge builder, and his sixth-generation successor, Tang Shuheng, tried their best to repair Baizi Bridge, which can still be preserved today.
