2. How to make transparent color inkjet images:

The production of transparent color inkjet images is relatively more troublesome. In CS, pure blue (RGB: 0 0 255) will be processed as transparent, so you should fill the parts of the image that are to be transparent with pure blue. Note: Be sure to adjust the size first and then perform transparent processing, otherwise the spray image will have a blue background.

Use Photoshop and other image editing tools to cut out the image, and fill the parts to be transparent with pure blue. In Photoshop, you must convert the picture to 256 colors, which is done through Image-Mode-Indexed Color. If your picture is not converted into 256 colors in Photoshop, the resulting spray image will be transparent but the color will be ugly. This is because although 256-color conversion is not performed when opening, HLC will still convert images with more than 256 colors into 256 colors (without affecting blue) when generating spray images, because this conversion will not use "Quantization" and Floyd Steinberg dithering" are two optimization methods used to convert images into 256 colors, so the converted colors will be ugly. It is important to know that the role of quantization and Floyd Steinberg dithering is: when HLC processes an image, such as 24bit (2 to the 24th power) color to 256 colors, many colors will be lost. To compensate for these lost colors, quantization and Floyd Steinberg dithering can come into play. They tell HLC to consider the colors that are mainly used in the image (the color that is processed to make the image color closest to the original state) and in the final Use these colors in the palette. Therefore, for images that are not 256 colors, do not select the "Directly generate spray file" option. For 256-color images, you should select it. Of course, it does not matter if you do not select it for 256-color images that do not require transparency processing. However, after these two processes are opened, the quality of the image will be reduced, so it is better to select it.

Although it is easier to cut out pictures with Photoshop, the sprayed pictures may have some blue edges. It is recommended that for complex pictures, you can use Photoshop to fill the transparent parts with colors other than blue, and then use HLC Open it and process it to pure blue, so that the transparent logo will not have a blue edge. You can also use photoshop to create text spray images with a transparent background. Do not use blue or white as the background color. It is best to have a color similar to the color in the map. This way, even if the cutout is not clean in HLC, you will not see obvious edges when spraying it out, and it will feel like it was sprayed on with an airbrush. . Note that the text should not be too close to the edge when making, otherwise the text will be easily cut off when using HLC's rectangular selection method to remove the edge. These sprays are made from different images that are logically related and are combined when spraying, but they may not be connected. The reason why we discuss it with a separate title is because monochrome bitmap logos are similar in principle and production method. The color logos introduced above are different. The production of a monochrome bitmap logo does not require the use of HLC, nor does it need to generate a wad file or anything. Just put the finished bitmap in the logos directory and select it in the icon box. Monochrome bitmap logos also have many restrictions: the total number of pixels (width * height) must be less than 12288 pixels, the number of pixels in height and width must be an integer multiple of 16, the width and height must be equal, and it must be a grayscale bitmap. Since the width and height must be equal, the maximum value for a monochrome bitmap logo should be 64*64. You may think it is a black and white picture, but in fact it is a grayscale picture. Pure black will be considered transparent, pure white will be considered opaque, and various grayscale values ????between pure black and pure white are The closer to black, the higher the transparency. You can also copy the special characters of some fonts (such as webdings, wingdings, etc.) in programs, accessories, system tools, and character mapping tables and paste them in Photoshop (the same fonts must also be selected in Photoshop, otherwise the paste will not work).
