In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth is empty and formless. The face of the abyss is dark. The Spirit of God moves over the waters. God said, let there be light, and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. There is evening and there is morning. This is the first day. (Genesis 1:1-)

On the first day, there was no longer chaos and darkness on the earth but there was light, and light and darkness were separated;

God said there should be "light", The reason why the earth was empty and chaotic at first was because of the various gases on the earth at that time, including water vapor, carbon dioxide and other gases, just like Mars or Saturn now. Even now, sometimes dense fog or sandstorms can feel similar to this. God thinned the chaotic gases so that sunlight could shine from space onto the water and separate the earth from night to morning. Please remember that only the "face of the abyss" is dark, and there is no darkness elsewhere in the universe, because the sun and stars already exist in space.

Some scientists believe that when the earth was first formed, the crust was very circular and evenly surrounded by a hydrosphere. The entire ground was under water more than a thousand meters deep, so there was a spirit of God running around it. on the water. At that time, the temperature of the earth was very high, the sea water was boiling, and the water vapor produced formed thick clouds and fog that surrounded the earth, making it impossible for the sun to penetrate, and it was dark everywhere, and you could not see your fingers.

God said that there should be air between the waters to divide the water into upper and lower parts. God created the air and separated the water below the air from the water above the air. And so it was. God called the air heaven. There is evening and there is morning, which is the second day. (Genesis 1:1-)

On the second day, let there be air between the waters:

God said, “Let the waters be divided into upper and lower parts, and let there be air between the waters. ”, Modern science tells us that as the earth’s temperature further cools, most of the clouds turn into rain and fall (this is the water under the sky). A small part of the clouds remains in the sky (this is the water in the sky, because clouds are made of extremely fine water droplets). Between the clouds and the ground water, there appears a relatively pure hemispherical space - the firmament, which is called "sky".

God said that all the waters under the sky would be gathered together in one place, and dry land would be exposed. And so it was. God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of waters sea. God saw that it was good. God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, herbaceous plants bearing seed, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it, according to their kind. And so it was. So the earth produced grass, herb bearing seed according to his kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it, according to his kind. God saw that it was good. There was evening and there was morning, which was the third day. (Genesis 1:1-)

On the third day, the waters gathered together (the earth creation movement), and green grass and seed-bearing vegetables and trees came into being.

God commanded the dry land to be revealed, saying: "Let the waters gather together in one place, and let the land produce green grass and every tree bearing fruit." Please note that this further confirms what God said on the first day. The "light" created is already sunlight, because without sunlight, it would be impossible for plants to survive on the third day, and even the air would be cold enough to freeze! Therefore, in order to gather water in one place, earth-making movement must be carried out. When the earth's crust was first formed, it was very round. As the temperature of the earth further dropped, the earth's crust contracted and deformed, resulting in crustal movement. Parts of the earth's crust rose to expose the water and became land mountains. The earth's crust sinks and becomes the ocean. Scientists only learned about this crustal movement in the past two to three hundred years, but the Bible "Genesis" recorded this crustal movement more than 3,500 years ago. At this time, sunlight can shine in, and the earth becomes a greenhouse-like state, which is most suitable for plant growth; in this way, the seeds hidden in the soil can also grow and become various grasses and trees.

God said, Let there be lights in the sky to separate day from night and to serve as signs to establish seasons, days, and years. And let it shine in the sky and give light on the earth. And so it was. So God created two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the smaller light to rule the night. And he made the stars. He arranged these lights in the sky to give light on the earth. Rule over day and night, distinguish between light and darkness. God saw that it was good. There was evening and there was morning, which was the fourth day. (Genesis 1:1-)

On the fourth day, stars and sun can be observed on the earth, and seasons begin;

The sun, moon, and stars were only created in the fourth stage.

This may seem absurd on the surface, but you must remember that God does not use the word "create" on this day, but the word "make", which means that "from the standpoint of the earth" God is on this day. "Prompting" the sun and the moon to appear. On this day, God caused the water vapor or clouds covering the sky to split, and the weather became very clear. Modern science tells us that in the future, the earth will be completely cooled, and all the high-altitude clouds will turn into rain and fall, and a clear sky will appear. , you can directly see the sun, moon, and stars from the ground, just like the first creation. Everyone knows that the light on the earth comes from the sun, moon, and stars. However, "Genesis" separates light from these celestial bodies, saying that God created light in the first stage. In fact, it is completely consistent with modern science: due to the obstruction of extremely thick clouds, light was seen first on the ground, and then the sun, moon, and other stars appeared. Star.

The key lies in "cloud changes" and "viewing from the ground", otherwise, we will not be able to understand the real process. So the scripture says: Two great lights are arranged in the sky with the stars, "to govern the day" and to separate "darkness". Modern people know that the moon is not a real luminous body, but it is really amazing when viewed from the earth. This is not The small and luminous satellite of the earth reflects sunlight to the earth. From the perspective of the earth, the brightness of the moon is second only to the sun, and it provides night lighting for humans. Nowadays, everyone knows that because the earth’s axis has an inclination angle with the sun, the earth has seasons, and can “mark, divide into seasons, days, and years.” This description of “division” comes from the perspective of the ground. See, it's absolutely impossible to look at it from a space standpoint.

God said, Let the water be filled with living things, and let birds fly above the ground and in the sky. God created the great fish and every living creature that the water teems with, according to their kind. And he made every kind of bird according to its kind. God saw that it was good. And God blessed them all, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters of the sea. Birds will also multiply on the earth. There was evening and there was morning, which was the fifth day. (Genesis 1:1-)

On the fifth day, sea creatures and birds began to breed;

From the classification of modern creatures, we know that most sea creatures, fish, and creatures in the air Birds are all of a lower level than land creatures.

God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds. Cattle, insects, and wild beasts, according to their kind. And so it was. So God created the wild animals, each according to his kind. livestock according to their kind. Every creeping thing on the earth is according to its kind. God saw that it was good. God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds in the air, over the livestock on the ground, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it.” And have dominion over the fish in the sea, over the birds in the air, and over every living creature that moves on the earth. God said, Behold, I give you every herb yielding seed that is on the face of the earth, and every tree yielding fruit with seed in it, for food. And to the beasts of the earth and to the birds of the air, and to every living thing that creeps on the earth, I give them green grass for food. And so it was. God saw everything he had made, and behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, which was the sixth day. (Genesis 1:1-)

On the sixth day, land creatures, insects, livestock, and wild beasts were formed according to their kinds. Finally, God created them male and female in their image. As for the fish, birds in the sky, animals and humans created on the fifth and sixth days, the Bible truly uses the word “creation” to describe God’s actions.

If you look at Genesis from God’s perspective, not to mention that the ancients couldn’t understand it. Even people with modern knowledge of astronomical science have difficulty understanding the mystery of creation. The biblical records observe the scene of creation from the perspective of the people on earth. If you use the earth as an observation point and look at the creation process of all things in the world, you will be surprised to find that "Genesis" is completely consistent with modern science.
