Tathagata Buddha also knows that he didn't do much in the face of lawlessness, and even relied on the Monkey King to save himself. In order to stabilize everyone's heart, consolidate their position, and take this opportunity to publicize their merits, he had to resurrect the Monkey King and make him the new ancestor of ten thousand buddhas.
