What kind of life is it to live unconsciously and become a joke in the eyes of others?

I've worked hard, just don't regret it. Life is short. You live for yourself, not for others. How can I live happily? Think of those who are equally healthy. They're already fine. Why does TV always say that many urban elites give up high salaries to farm in rural areas? Aren't they jokes of others, too? But this is what they want, isn't it? Live for yourself and don't care too much about others.
