Why is Ivan Isakov called Moscow?

Moscow is a glorious large-scale gas turbine guided missile cruiser, named after Moscow, the capital of the Soviet Union. [1] The ship started construction in 1976 according to the former Soviet Navy's "164 Plan", and was launched in dock No.445 on July 27th, 1979. 1983 was named "Glory". After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the "Glory" re-entered the Russian Navy in 2000 after major overhaul. The name of the ship was changed to Moscow, and the ship number was changed to "12 1".

On April 14, 2022, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that a fire broke out on the guided missile cruiser "Moscow" of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, causing the ammunition carried by the warship to explode.
