Why persuade people to study medicine? Are medical students really tired?

It is said that persuading people to study medicine is actually a joke. Studying medicine is not as beautiful as many people think, but it actually has its own advantages. I am a freshman in the Department of Clinical Medicine of Capital Medical University. As a reserve doctor, today I will talk to you about "those things in medical school" according to my personal experience, and I also hope to give some small experiences to students who have not set foot in this major ~

Let me talk about the "doctor" major first. As we all know, the academic system of medical students is quite special, with five years for undergraduate, three years for master and three years for doctor. But it is not enough for medical students to have only a bachelor's degree. As we all know, doctors are basically graduate students, which can meet the threshold of ordinary hospitals. If you want to go to a tertiary hospital, you must start with a doctor. However, when you enter the hospital, you will have to face the training at the end of the year

So after I decided to apply for this major, I negotiated with my family, including telling my friends, but I didn't really understand. They all doubt whether I was persuaded by others, and even think that I was fascinated by the plot in movies and TV series. They all think that the profession of doctor is very hard. In others' eyes, hardship means that doctors have to work night shifts every day and stand by for hours on the operating table. It's really hard, but we'll save people later. Compared with life, this kind of manual labor is nothing. Of course, all this happened after we graduated. In the process of studying medicine, many students, including relatives and friends, will wonder whether we will be stained by reagents or blood on the dissecting table or clothes every day. They are also full of curiosity and think it will be interesting. I thought the same thing when I first entered school. It was not until we had the first experimental class of systematic anatomy that I really felt awe of the selflessness of teachers and life.

In the first class of the university, we studied the introduction of orthopedics, saw almost all the bones of the human body, got a preliminary understanding of the bones of the human body, and left many photos. When sharing with my friends, they all asked me this question: Are these photos real bones? This is a question that I really didn't expect, and I also gave the answer: Yes, although they have been treated by clinical teachers, they are really human bones. My answer also surprised my friends.

Offer the door of our laboratory (whisper that everything in the laboratory is not allowed to spread ~)

How time flies! The final exam is coming in a blink of an eye. Other schools call it "exam week", but medical students are different. We are more interesting, called "exam month". You think you have climbed the mountain, but in fact you are still at the foot of the mountain! We not only have to face the "blue love of life and death" (ps: the nickname of medical students), but also review the knowledge of the whole book with almost no focus every day. At first, we didn't have a clue, and we really didn't know where to start. It was not until later that there were fewer and fewer subjects that we could concentrate on reviewing a subject. I didn't sleep for 48 hours before the last exam. Systematic Anatomy B collapsed outside after the exam. The collapse of the exam month must be linked to physiology and biochemistry! I believe all medical students know pain!

These are just our freshmen, and many professional courses have not been opened yet, such as physiology, pathology, pharmacology and so on. It was only opened in our sophomore year. There are already many classes in freshman year, and it is even more difficult in sophomore year. Therefore, with my present study experience, it is really thunderous to persuade a person who doesn't like medicine to study medicine. If he has no interest at all, it will be too painful. Friends who really want to study medicine don't need persuasion. I only applied for two majors in the college entrance examination: clinical medicine and forensic medicine. To apply for a major, we should not only consider our hobbies, but also consider the future employment direction and employment prospects. These are all things that need careful consideration. Take it easy.

Medical students (blue life and death love)

Of course, studying medicine has many advantages, such as the doctor's income level, decent and stable work, no midlife crisis and so on. These are the advantages in the eyes of the public. In addition, I found that choosing to study medicine can filter out a lot of IQ tax for myself. Ha ha ha ha, at least you can reveal some false "health products"! You can also provide health help for your family and friends, and you are a little proud to think about it!

Finally, I want to say that studying medicine really needs careful consideration. If you ask me whether I will choose this major with long growth cycle and slow return, my answer is-yes. Maybe I had this heroic heart to heal the wounded and rescue the dying at the beginning, so now I feel that the words "medical students" make me feel more love and responsibility. I will always strive to be an excellent doctor, and I hope I can become a responsible and warm doctor ~ At present, the epidemic situation is serious, so we, as medical students, should shoulder this responsibility and make contributions to the continuation and development of life.
