How to treat jokes between classmates?

In modern society, people often use humor and jokes to solve embarrassment, relieve stress, or improve social skills. Of course, great minds think alike, and there are no identical people in the world. Some people may be regarded as malicious jokes because they are too careful, while others may not know what a joke is and often bully others with self-expression.

For example, in primary school, there was a boy named Li Ming in the class, who was the fattest one in our class, and therefore became the object of mutual ridicule by boys in our class. On the way home from school, students always pinch his stomach with their own meat piles, and then make fun of "Oh, your stomach is really round ~" and "So big, whoever marries you will lose money in the future!" Wait a minute. Although Li Ming may feel that he is playing a joke on everyone at first, gradually, these jokes become more and more aggressive and even make him feel inferior and lonely.

Another thing happened at the party. In laughter and conversation, there are always some people who think that being funny is more popular than telling noble things. Therefore, some inappropriate or embarrassing actions or language will be performed in front of a group of people, especially those "jokes" that are not approved by others or obviously uncomfortable, which makes the onlookers feel unhappy.

Of course, it is impossible for us to design a comprehensive and accurate standard to define what kind of jokes are bullying. After all, everyone's bottom line and sensitive points will vary from person to person. However, we can't ignore that some jokes hurt others and are regarded as ironic, sarcastic and cruel words and behaviors. Like the example mentioned above, Li Ming was actually spurned by everyone because of his overweight figure. He not only has to work hard to change his body shape, but also bears mental pressure, so we can't treat it as a trivial matter and simply say, "Hee hee, that's not my joke."

It is best to combine interpersonal skills. Those really "wonderful" humor and jokes often come from the true understanding of others, and this recognition and respect is also the key means to enhance the feelings between people. Only by ensuring this basic social ability can we really immerse ourselves in a happy atmosphere and begin to really laugh.
