What do you think about the large number of civil engineering graduates who do not engage in this major?

That’s normal.

Not only civil engineering graduates, most of them do not engage in this major. This phenomenon also exists in other majors.

For example, I am a journalism major. Now I am engaged in the education industry, and I am not in this professional circle. But very few of my classmates are engaged in journalism. They are rare. Most of them are in the education or government industries.

In fact, I think the reason for this problem should be a conceptual issue. It does not mean that you must engage in a certain job because of the major you study. People are constantly understanding and making choices. What you see inside the industry may not be as good as before. This may be the reason why most civil engineering graduates do not engage in this major.
