Excavation of Sleeping History in Wuwei, Gansu Province, Construction of "Silk Road Pedestrian Street" and Reconstruction of "Prosperous Liangzhou"

(Going to the Grass-roots in the Spring Festival) Excavate the sleeping history and build a "Silk Road Pedestrian Street" in Wuwei, Gansu Province, hoping to reproduce the "Prosperous Liangzhou"

When entering the downtown area of Wuwei, many landmark buildings have the slogan "Free from the wild", which is the propaganda slogan of local cultural tourism. Many tourists said that they felt the slogan was romantic, but if they experienced it deeply, they would fall into the trap of not knowing where to "wave" and "diffuse" except "horse". Whether people who watch the "copper galloping horse" can stay and "swim slowly" has always been a major event that puzzles the development of Wuwei cultural tourism.

The embarrassment of "wanting to stay but not staying" in a rich tourist destination

At present, Wuwei faces two major traffic problems: there is no high-speed rail and no airport. This is the primary consideration for people who take time to travel in the fast pace of contemporary society. The Hexi Corridor is more than a thousand kilometers, and the tourist routes are long and scattered. "Instead of spending time on the way to Wuwei, it is better to go straight to Zhangye and then go all the way west to Dunhuang." Some tourists commented on the internet.

Open the official website of Wuwei Municipal Government, and it is clearly hung in the section of investment in environmental resources advantages: Wuwei is the tourist symbol capital of China, a famous historical and cultural city in China and an excellent tourist city in China, with a long history and rich relics. There are 129 immovable cultural relics in the city, including 13 national key cultural relics protection units, 49 provincial cultural relics protection units and more than 5, cultural relics in the collection, including 3 national treasures.

among so many historical relics, the most familiar one is "Yima", which is the tourist symbol of China "Copper Running Horse" and its land-Leitai Han Tomb. There is also a popular joke on the Internet that there is nothing in Wuwei to contrast the rich tourism resources, such as "only a cave, a temple, a temple, a monument and a pagoda, and Tiantang Temple, one of the five Tibetan Buddhist temples in northern China".

According to Song Yan, a staff member of the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Wuwei City, the so-called "One Cave" is the Tiantaishan Grottoes, the originator of China Grottoes, and the "One Temple" is the Baita Temple, the historical witness of Tibet's belonging to the motherland, while the "One Temple" is the Confucian Temple, the crown of Longyou Learning Palace, and the "One Monument" is a walking dictionary for studying Xixia characters.

With such rich tourism resources, it is impossible to keep tourists. Most people who come to Wuwei choose a "one-day tour", and even many guests who travel on the Silk Road take Wuwei as a stopover. After watching the bronze galloping horse, they eat a "three-car" and leave.

historically, Liangzhou was one of the three major economic centers in the Tang dynasty. Since ancient times, Liangzhou has been a fertile land of "densely populated mulberry trees". As a major commercial port in the northwest, the night economy is even more prosperous. In order to break through the difficulty of retaining people, Wuwei should not only solve the current traffic bottleneck as soon as possible, but also rebuild the glory of Yeliangzhou.

Building "Silk Road Pedestrian Street" to reshape "Prosperous Liangzhou"

"The construction of the cultural tourism complex project in Leitai Scenic Area in Wuwei can solve some problems of retaining people to some extent." Song Yan said that by exploring the sleeping history and culture of Guliangzhou and Tianma culture, the project will upgrade and transform Leitai Han Tomb Ruins Park and its surrounding cultural tourism facilities, and build it into a characteristic tourism complex that radiates Hanfeng cultural tourism and artistic creative experience.

in 217, Wuwei municipal government signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Gonghanglv Group, and the construction of Leitai Scenic Area Cultural Tourism Complex Project officially started in October 218, with a construction period of four years, which will build a comprehensive 5A-level urban central cultural tourism scenic spot integrating site protection, history education, tourism and leisure, cultural and creative base and other supporting facilities.

"Silk Road Pedestrian Street" is located in the cultural tourism complex of Leitai Scenic Area, with the theme of Silk Road culture. On the basis of the original single commercial function, it expands new functions of culture, tourism, leisure and food, and integrates commercial activities, urban leisure and history and culture. The staff said that the key is to provide tourists with a gathering place for eating, living, traveling, shopping and entertainment.

According to the staff of Leitai Scenic Area Cultural Tourism Complex, there are 94 single buildings in this project, and 93 buildings have been capped. The designed green coverage rate is as high as 56%, which will become "urban green lung, natural oxygen bar". Focus on the design of Tianma Walking Garden, Liangzhou Poetry Garden and Tianma Expo Park, fully integrate culture and nature, so that tourists can experience the beauty of natural harmony while experiencing cultural tourism.

Some citizens said that the pedestrian street is also a "window of the city", and there is no "decent" pedestrian street in Wuwei at present. The night market frequented by local foodies is not only difficult to park, but also relatively remote, and tourists can't find the north when they come. Song Yan believes that if the Silk Road Pedestrian Street is completed, it will be a qualitative leap for Wuwei tourism, enhance the participation and experience of tourists, and the night tour of Liangzhou will reproduce the glory of Han and Tang Dynasties.

Wake up the sleeping history and make cultural relics come alive

When you travel to Wuwei, you will also hear a sentence: "You have something to listen to, but you haven't played with it or bought it". Although in recent years, local historical resources have been excavated and some cultural and creative products have been developed, but the types are relatively single. There seems to be nothing to take away except souvenirs such as "Copper Running Horse". Since last year, Wuwei Museum has turned some cultural relics that have been sleeping for thousands of years into "awakened" online celebrity products.

The museum cooperated with Ningxia University to launch a series of bookmarks of Xixia Zodiac. With the names of the zodiac in Xixia language and the corresponding animal images in Xixia art as visual design symbols, the mascot of Xixia Zodiac was creatively designed by using modern copper electroplating hollowing-out technology, showing the outstanding achievements of the integration of traditional culture and creative inspiration in the new era.

Liang Jihong, deputy director of Wuwei Museum, for example, said that the design inspiration of the carved porcelain series was based on Xixia's unique carved porcelain making skills. Combining the commonly used patterns and special patterns of Xixia carved porcelain, we designed wine sets, tea sets, stationery and other products suitable for modern life by hand carving, which were deeply loved by tourists. This series of wenchuang also won the bronze prize in Gansu Tourism Commodity Competition.

"Thousands of years ago, the ancient people's artistic creation was combined with modern technology, and the pattern of Eight Birds in the Chaoyang was like a national tide wind passing through." Liang Jihong said that the painted portrait brick of Eight Birds in Chaoyang is a caisson brick unearthed from the Wei and Jin tombs in Wuwei. The inspiration of this series of creative products comes from this portrait brick that is still exquisite after thousands of years, from which pillow, mobile phone case, mouse pad, silk scarf, cosmetic mirror and so on are developed and designed.

"It is no exaggeration to say that many Wenchuang products are already made in online celebrity." Liang Jihong said that Wuwei is a big city of cultural relics, and 9% of the unearthed cultural relics are collected in the museum. Nowadays, cultural relics have a younger expression through the innovation of contemporary people. As the Spring Festival is coming, cultural and creative products, as a culture of "affordable and take away", will become a New Year custom, and in the future, it will also be a new tourism symbol in Wuwei.
