Legal basis: "Notice on the Implementation of the "1+1" China Legal Aid Volunteer Action Organization in 2020" III. Volunteer Treatment (1) Lawyer Volunteers: 1. Lawyer Volunteers All policies and treatments are implemented in accordance with the "Notice on Organizing and Carrying out the "1+1" China Legal Aid Volunteer Action" (China-Legal Aid Fund No. 20092). 2. Lawyer volunteers serving in Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Gansu will receive a monthly subsidy of 3,800 yuan per person for office, travel, communication, and printing expenses. Lawyer volunteers serving in other regions will receive a monthly subsidy of 3,300 yuan per person for office, travel, communication and printing expenses. 3. For lawyer volunteers serving in Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Gansu, the plateau fee subsidy will be increased to: 15,000 yuan per person per year in Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Gansu. 4. Lawyer volunteers are exempt from paying lawyer association dues during the period of volunteer service. Lawyer volunteers who have served continuously for more than 2 years (including 2 years) can continue to enjoy the exemption of bar association dues based on the increased number of years of volunteer service after the end of their volunteer service. (2) Former college students and grassroots legal service workers 1. All policies and benefits shall be implemented with reference to the benefits enjoyed by volunteer lawyers. 2. For those serving in Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Gansu, the working expense subsidy is 2,300 yuan per person per month. For those serving in other areas, the working expense subsidy is 2,000 yuan per person per month. 3. If there is a grassroots legal service industry association in the location where grassroots legal service workers are located, they will be exempted from paying association dues as lawyer volunteers. (3) For fresh college student volunteers recruited by the provincial (regional, municipal) Youth League Committee to participate in the "Western Plan", their fee subsidies shall be based on the standards stipulated in the national "Western Plan". (4) When volunteers handle cases that are within the scope of the Central Special Lottery Public Welfare Fund Legal Aid Project, all localities must be included in the subsidy scope of the Central Special Lottery Public Welfare Fund Legal Aid Project, and apply for case handling subsidies in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures.
