Introduction:

Tiananmen Square is located in East Chang 'an Street, Dongcheng District, China, in the center of Beijing. It starts from Tiananmen Square in the north, ends at Zhengyangmen in the south, ends at China National Museum in the east and ends at the Great Hall of the People in the west. It is 880 meters long from north to south and 500 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of 440,000 square meters. It can accommodate 1 10,000 people for a grand gathering. It is the largest city square in the world. In the center of the square stands the Monument to the People's Heroes and the solemn Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Architectural layout:

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Tiananmen Square was the palace square outside the main entrance of the Forbidden City in Beijing. There are walls on the east, west and south sides, and ordinary people are not allowed to enter. The square starts from Tiananmen Square in the north, Zhengyangmen in the south, the History Museum in the east and the Great Hall of the People in the west.
