Traffic Control Notice for Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of People's Republic of China (PRC) in the Capital

The 60th anniversary celebration meeting of People's Republic of China (PRC) (hereinafter referred to as the celebration meeting) will be held in Tiananmen area and along Chang 'an Avenue 1+0. There will be a grand military parade and mass demonstrations. After the celebration, there will be a National Day party. In order to ensure the safety and smooth progress of the celebration meeting, according to the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, it is decided to take traffic control measures in Tiananmen area and related roads in a time-sharing and segmented manner. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows: FLASH animation notification interpretation and Web notification interpretation.

1. From 22: 00 on September 28th to1October/0/The party ends, and the area north of the temporary viewing platform in front of Tiananmen Square, the Xihuamen Gate of the Forbidden City, the east of Wumen Gate, the east of Nanchang Street (excluding) and the west of Wang Hongbin Street (including the Working People's Cultural Palace, Zhongshan Park and Tiananmen Gate).

On September 29th, visitors from the Forbidden City entered and exited from the north gate of the Forbidden City.

2. From 22: 00 to 10/Sunday on September 29th, the Forbidden City is closed to the public, and other vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing except those who hold special certificates for the celebration meeting and the gala.

3. From September 29th to 1 October1,Zhongshan Park, Working People's Cultural Palace and Tiananmen Gate are temporarily closed to the public. From September 30th to June 10, the National Museum, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and Zhengyangmen Tower were closed to the public, and the commercial outlets around Tiananmen Square were closed.

4. From 06: 00 on September 30th to 1 when the gala ended on October 30th,1,the East-West Road of Tiananmen Square and the South Road of Great Hall were closed to other vehicles and pedestrians except those who held special certificates for celebration activities and National Day reception.

Vehicles and personnel holding certificates for national day receptions, celebration meetings and gala parties must pass through within the specified time in accordance with the requirements for the passage time of certificates.

During the National Day reception, the road on the east side of the square was changed to two lanes, allowing vehicles and personnel with special certificates for the National Day reception, celebration meeting and gala to pass. On the west side of the square, only vehicles and personnel with special National Day reception documents are allowed to pass.

5. From 20: 00 on September 30th to the end of the celebration meeting, parking is prohibited on the following roads (including auxiliary roads and parking spaces on both sides) and parking lots except vehicles with special certificates for the celebration meeting:

(1) Donghuamen Street, Donganmen Street, Jinyu Hutong, Jinbao Street and Beijing Railway Station East and West Street (north half);

(2) Wang Hongbin Street, Nanhe Street, Wangfujing Street (from the west exit of Jinyu Hutong to the south exit of Wangfujing Street), Daruanfu Hutong, Xiagongfu Street, Shamao Hutong, Dongdan North Street, Beijige Headline, CPPCC Road, Chaoyangmen South Street (from the intersection of Jinbao Street to the north exit of Beijing Railway Station Street), Zhengyi Road, Taiji Factory Street, Dahua Road, Chongwenmennei Street and the west side of News Building.

7. From 23: 00 on September 30th to the end of the celebration, the following traffic control measures will be taken:

(1) Except those who hold special certificates to celebrate the conference, the following roads are closed to other vehicles and pedestrians, and buses are stopped:

1. The area within 50m from Jianguomen Bridge (excluding the bridge) on Chang 'an Street to the south exit of Fu You Street (excluding it) and related intersections on both sides;

2. Donghuamen Street, Donganmen Street, Jinyu Hutong, Jinbao Street, Beijing Railway Station East and West Street (northern half), Chongwenmen West Street, Qianmen East, West Street, Xuanwumen East and West Street (excluding the south service road);

3. Wang Hongbin Street, Nanhe Street, Wangfujing Street (from the west exit of Jinyu Hutong to the south exit of Wangfujing Street), Xiagongfu Street, Daruanfu Hutong, Dashamao Hutong, Dongdan North Street, Beijige Headline, CPPCC Road, Chaoyangmen South Street (from the intersection of Jinbao Street to the north exit of Beijing Railway Station Street), Zhengyi Road, Taiji Factory Street, Dahua Road, Chongwenmennei Street and the west side of News Building.

During the traffic control time, people and social vehicles heading for Beijing Railway Station can pass through Dongbianmen Bridge, Huashi Street, Chongwenmen East Street, Beijing Railway Station West Street, Beijing Railway Station East Street and East Second Ring Road in one direction.

8. (2) Guo Mao Bridge (excluding) is a two-way main and auxiliary road from Jianguomenwai Street to Jianguomenqiao (excluding under the bridge).

Vehicles can bypass Tonghuihe North Road, Chaoyang Road and Guanghua Road respectively.

Vehicles can bypass the West Second Ring Road and the North Second Ring Road.

22. 10, 1, 1 1: 30 until the motorcade passes, take the following traffic control measures:

(1) The East Second Ring Road is a two-way main and auxiliary road from Dongzhimen Bridge (excluding) to Chaoyangmen Bridge (excluding), and all kinds of vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing. Vehicles can bypass Dongzhimen Inner Street and Chaoyangmen Inner Street from Dongzhimen Bridge and Chaoyangmen Bridge from east to west.

(2) From Dongsishitiao Bridge via Workers' Stadium North Road, Agricultural Exhibition Hall South Road and Chaoyang Park South Road to the north exit of Tianshuiyuan Street, no other vehicles are allowed to pass, except those with special certificates to celebrate the conference.

(1) At the north exit of Beijing Railway Station Street, all kinds of vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing through Jianguomen Inner Street, Outer Street, Jianguo Road and Dawangqiao two-way main road and north side auxiliary road.

(2) Chaoyangmen Bridge (excluding) to Dongbianmen Bridge (excluding) on the East Second Ring Road is a two-way main and auxiliary road, and all kinds of vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing. Vehicles can bypass Dongzhimen Bridge and Guangqumen Bridge from east to west.

(3) From the north exit of Tianshuiyuan Street to the north exit of Xidawang Road from north to south, the intersection of main and auxiliary roads, Xidawang Road, Baiziwan Road West of East Fourth Ring Road and Baiziwan Bridge is a two-way main and auxiliary road. No other vehicles are allowed to pass except those with special certificates to celebrate the conference.
