Putian: Innovative governance to solve problems

In 2017, Putian included innovative social governance in nine special actions to build a beautiful Putian, deepened the construction of urban and rural community grids, implemented a new grid model of comprehensive law enforcement and service governance, and gradually formed Putian model of municipal social governance. In 2019, this approach was selected as a national "Typical Case of Innovative Social Governance".

Relying on the city’s 2,408 unit grids and 3,096 grid (patrol) officers, starting from 2020, Putian City will explore the creation of "Party Building +" Community Neighborhood Center, "Comprehensive Management +" Community Governance Center The grassroots governance position driven by dual centers has completed the construction of hundreds of centers covering the city, creating a 15-minute convenient living circle.

Looking back over the past five years, Putian City has achieved fruitful results in innovative social governance, providing a lot of "Putian experience" to our province and even the country, and solving many social governance problems.

Since the beginning of this year, a new blueprint for social governance with a higher starting point, broader layout, and stronger strength has been slowly unfolding. The Putian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have deployed and promoted the "Party Building Leading, Laying the Foundation and Benefiting the People" project to implement? The six-level management model of city, county, district, town, street, village, grid, unit, coordinates and gives full play to the main role of party members and cadres, social forces, and residents, and builds a grassroots, mass autonomous circle, and social governance circle.
