A brand similar to muji

1. "MUJI", also known as "MUJI", is a Japanese grocery brand registered and operated by "Ryohin Project Co., Ltd." The title means "a great product without any logo". "MUJI" products tend to downplay the brand's minimalist design, which has become a feature of "MUJI". By 2020, "MUJI" will have more than 1,000 stores around the world, with product categories involving more than 7,000 products such as clothing, daily necessities, kitchen supplies, and food. After the Xinjiang cotton incident in 2021, the China regional headquarters of "MUJI" stated that the company is still using Xinjiang cotton, which shows that "MUJI" attaches great importance to the Chinese market.

2. "MUJI" is a veritable enterprise in China. Registered by Hainan Nanhua Industry and Trade Company in 2001, it covers 24 major categories of trademarks such as cotton fabrics, towels, and bath towels. In 2004, the trademark was transferred to Miantian Company. Before Japan's Muji entered China, China's "Muji" trademark had been registered.

3. Brand disputes. The two brands have been suing each other for copyright infringement for years. MUJI's blankets, bedspreads, mattresses and other products all use MUJI's trademarks and belong to the 24 categories of goods registered by MUJI. From 2012 to November 2019, the Beijing Higher People's Court ruled that Muji Engineering Co., Ltd., the operating entity of Japan's Muji, and its Shanghai company infringed on the trademark rights of Cotton Field Company. The court ordered Muji to immediately stop the infringement, issue a statement in its official flagship store and physical store to eliminate the impact, and compensate Muji for economic losses of 500,000 yuan.
