Approved by Yuzhou Municipal People's Government, hosted by Yuzhou Forestry Bureau and Yuzhou Tourism Bureau, and hosted by Yuzhou Forest Botanical Garden, the first Spring Festival Lantern Festival in 2008 is scheduled to open on the 29th of the twelfth lunar month in 2007, and will be held in Yuzhou Forest Botanical Garden on February 2, 2008.

After intensive preparations, the Forest Botanical Garden has launched the largest-scale activity organized since its establishment. Yuzhou Forest Botanical Garden successfully passed the preliminary acceptance of AAAA-level scenic spots organized by the Provincial Tourism Bureau, which indicates that this scenic spot is expected to become the second AAAA-level scenic spot in Xuchang City after Yanling Huabo Garden. Yuzhou Forest Botanical Garden is a large-scale leisure and holiday tourist area developed by Yuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to improve the urban ecological environment and promote the rapid development of tourism. Since the development and construction in 2002, the accumulated investment was 2 1 10,000 yuan, and the first and second phases of the project were basically completed, forming a scale of 3,200 mu, which quickly became a new tourist highlight in the surrounding areas and even the whole province. In order to further improve the level of scenic spots and build a well-known tourism brand in Yuzhou, in June 2005, Yuzhou officially started the creation of 4A-level scenic spots in Forest Botanical Garden, with an investment of 6.67 million yuan, which improved the infrastructure, enriched the sightseeing projects and strengthened the management of scenic spots, which significantly improved the hardware level, management level and service level of scenic spots. In 20 12, Yuzhou Forest Botanical Garden successfully passed ISO9000 quality system certification and ISO 14000 environmental management quality certification. Nine scenic spots, three scenic belts and 107 scenic spots are fully open to the outside world, receiving more than 500,000 tourists each year, and achieving a comprehensive tourism income of more than120,000 yuan.

According to reports, AAAA-level scenic spots are the highest level of quality evaluation of tourist attractions in China. According to the relevant regulations, after the provincial preliminary examination, the National Tourism Administration will make a final acceptance of the establishment of AAAA-level scenic spots in the Forest Botanical Garden in the near future.
