On the eve of the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), I took part in a red tour organized by the Party Committee of Sichuan Earthquake Administration, and came to Chongqing to visit the famous Zhazidong and Baigongguan. Recalling the thrilling history during the War of Liberation, the time when sublime and ugly coexisted, left a deep impression on our party. They betrayed the revolution and comrades and became shameful traitors. However, the revolutionary martyrs showed the great spirit of preferring death to surrender for their beliefs. Among them, Jiang Zhujun Martyrs and Xu Xiaoxuan Martyrs are outstanding representatives. They are so young and imposing in the photos. They suffered all kinds of torture and inhuman torture for their beliefs and ideals, and gave their rings in their prime. But their integrity and spirit will go down in history forever, and they are also our eternal example and strength.

This ancient city with a long history of more than 3,000 years, centered on Chongqing, is the birthplace of Bayu culture, and this land has given birth to Chongqing's long history. The red culture in this city is very rich. Geleshan, such a beautiful name, is a picturesque place. However, 60 years ago, it was a hell on earth. Hundreds of party member, revolutionaries, young students, women and even children in shackles and handcuffs were tortured and slaughtered by Kuomintang military spies. Their blood stained the muck caves and white houses on Gele Mountain. When we raised our right hand in front of the Monument to Heroes and relived the pledge of joining the Party, our experience was baptized and our faith was strengthened.

Dregs hole, a place that will never be liked. Today, I walked along the winding and rugged mountain road into the former site of the China-US Cooperation Center. Mdash& ampmdash Zhazidong Prison is still the scene of Xiao's murder. The courtyard is surrounded by greedy bunkers, secret posts and barbed wire. The cell in the yard is a dark, damp and cold hut only three meters square. There are about ten people living in each room, and the only ventilated place in the room is the palm-sized window. Seeing groups of unfamiliar lists and yellowed photos, we saw the smiles and voices of revolutionaries who would rather sit in prison and die. Walking into the dregs hole, we all looked solemn, thinking about the horrible atmosphere in the prison and feeling the strong revolutionary spirit of revolutionaries who would rather die than surrender.

Imagine the environment of Zhazidong prison in those days: the high-voltage barbed wire on the high wall like a spider's web, the sentry on the top of the outer courtyard and the dark muzzle facing each cell, as well as the whipping sound and the howling sound of spies from time to time in the interrogation room, which can only remind people that this is a hell on earth for imprisoned revolutionaries.

I felt very heavy when I visited the dross cave. I thought countless revolutionary martyrs were locked up here and endured the torture of the enemy for a long time, but they never wavered in their belief in production, rebelled and were never depressed. They supported themselves with firm production beliefs, and they firmly believed that the China revolution would usher in a day of victory. Their will is rock-solid, and it is this belief and will that has built an indestructible spiritual United front of the China Revolution.

On the return bus, I looked up at this city influenced by history, a heroic city and a red city where the great Hongyan spirit was born. Hongyan soul is the soul of China and the soul of the nation. The bronze statue of Deng Xiaoping stands in the middle of about 5 acres of lawn, facing south. There is an inscription by Jiang Zemin on the bronze statue, and there are five characters "Bronze statue of Deng Xiaoping" below. Later, everyone visited the exhibition hall of Deng Xiaoping's former residence.
