When they arrived at the edge of the mountain, they lined up in an organized manner, with troops surrounding them gradually. After more than an hour of searching, the warriors, mainly the regiment's guard platoon, got there first. They shouted "Hand in your guns and don't kill". Everyone made a quick decision, quickly got out of the car, quickly shoveled a passage, and then pushed the car through. After getting on the bus, we rushed to the station. Unexpectedly, when the car drove to a place nearly 100 meters away from the station, there was a ditch about 20 meters wide across the middle. It had just rained. At this time, the water in the ditch was rapid. A small bridge leading to the station was also blown up in half by the enemy. It seemed that the road was impassable. The squad leader immediately got out of the car and jumped over the small bridge to reach the beach on the opposite side. Before his feet even landed, he heard a loud "boom" like a thunder from the front about 20 meters away. Came from the station. Then the exploded earth and rocks mixed with shrapnel fell heavily in front of us. A huge air wave brought black smoke and dust, and the acrid smell of gunpowder smoke made people dizzy and nauseating. Can't keep my eyes open. Seeing this scene, the squad leader said sternly: "Let's go up and have a look!" It was getting dark and the smoke and dust had not cleared. As soon as we groped our way onto the roadbed, we heard the battalion commander shouting urgently from behind. It turned out that when the battalion commander rushed to the rescuers who were waiting expectantly at the bridge to return in victory, he heard a loud noise because night had fallen and suddenly heard a loud noise. He was worried about the safety of his comrades and shouted loudly because he did not know what the situation was ahead. The battalion commander felt a little relieved when he heard the response.

It was getting darker and darker, and the smoke and dust from the bombing had not yet dispersed, making the scene dark. We had to wade back to the other side of the bridge. Our company has been in Yue for several years, and the battlefield is unstable and mobile. We have moved several times. Everywhere I go, I have to take time to clean and tidy up the environment. It is common to work until late at night. I remember the last station of the same model, facing the construction site and the railway, surrounded by two mountains behind it, with a portrait of Chairman Mao hanging on the colorful door in front of the door, and eye-catching couplets on both sides. Next to the air-raid shelter, there is a fast-flowing mountain spring with clear water. It is our natural bathhouse. Along the side of the mountain are rows of uniform bamboo-roofed houses with thatched roofs. The indoor floors are mixed with loess and beaten with homemade paddles to make them strong. The indoor and outdoor grounds have been photographed by comrades to make them bright and strong. Quilts, bags, guns, etc. are all arranged in an orderly manner. Make a straight line and implement a regular inspection system. Indoor self-painted bamboo and wood placards, quotation boards, and large horizontal couplets can be seen everywhere.

Taking advantage of the easing of the war situation, the comrades cultivated land around the camp and sowed various vegetable seeds mailed from their hometowns. When there was a shortage of fertilizer, we would walk to the artillery position more than ten miles away from us to pick up fertilizer. After the vegetables were planted, each class rushed to deliver the vegetables to the kitchen.
