When making ink, it is generally only necessary to dissolve beef gum Arabic gum with water (which can be heated and stirred), then mix it with tobacco powder to form plastic slurry, and then shape it into blocks. First of all, carbon black used to make ink is also called ink ash and ink smoke, and some use acid black dye, lamp coal (i.e. soot) and water-soluble aniline melanin as colorants. Soda soda can catalyze the dissolution of bone glue in ink, but the dosage should be strictly controlled. Too much ink will precipitate, too little ink will condense through the paper. Camphor oil or camphor powder is used as the perfume of ink, which also plays a certain role in killing castor and preventing corrosion. Swire oil, also called red oil, is used as emulsifier of camphor oil in ink, so that camphor oil can be mixed with ink (if camphor powder is used as preservative, alcohol should be used as solvent). Carbonic acid, also known as phenol, can prevent colloid corrosion in ink. 2. The process of making ink can be roughly divided into four parts: 1, sol: bone glue, soda ash, carbolic acid, etc. Put it into a mixing container according to the formula proportion, add a certain amount of clear water, catalyze it with steam (100- 120 degrees), and melt it into glue after stirring evenly for about 4 hours. 2. Mixing: move the glue solution into a paddle mixer, add ink ash according to a certain amount, then mix hot water into the glue solution according to a certain proportion, and make a uniform ink slurry after fully stirring. 3. Roll pressing: put the ink slurry into a three-roll flat mill for fine grinding and uniform roll pressing to increase the stability of the ink. The finer the grinding, the better the brightness and color of the ink, and the smaller the sedimentation. 4. Blending: Add 50-degree hot water to the ground ink paste several times and fully stir it to make it liquid, then add camphor oil and Taikoo Oil, slowly add warm water, adjust the ink to an appropriate concentration, stir it evenly, let it stand for a certain time, filter it with a 60-mesh copper gauze gong sieve, and put it into a bottle after inspection. 3. The common formula for making ink is: pine smoke 15, gum Arabic 25, water 250, borneol 0.5, boric acid 5 and alcohol 10. The preparation method is as follows: firstly, Arabic gum and boric acid are added with water and heated to dissolve; Step 2: Put pine tobacco in a mortar, add glue solution in turn, then grind it evenly, and add borneol dissolved in alcohol. However, this kind of ordinary ink is not durable, and it will change after a long storage time, resulting in the sinking of toner. The formula prepared by pure carbon chemical method has no such disadvantages, because its ink does not contain any impurities, so it can be kept for a long time, its color tone is exactly the same as that of excellent Song Yanmo, and it has strong sunlight and air resistance, water resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance. Especially when writing, it is much lighter than ordinary ground ink, and will not stick to the brush after drying, so there is no fear of broken hair, which can prolong the life of the pen. The mixing method is as follows: 1 part of tea dioxide, 1.38 parts of enhanced nitric acid and 1.80 parts of enhanced sulfuric acid are stirred for half an hour to make dark red liquid, then heated at 180 degrees for 2 hours to turn black, cooled, put into water, and filtered out black precipitate. To make ink simply, the following formula and method can be adopted: 1, and the formula: water 20, Niu Pijiao 2.5, kerosene 4, alcohol 1, and a small amount of liquid lithocarbonic acid. Methods: First, water was added to Niu Pijiao and heated to melt it, then coal was added and stirred to dissolve it. At the same time, borneol is dissolved in alcohol. When kerosene is added into Niu Pijiao solution and stirred to a proper degree, the alcohol dissolved with borneol can be added, and after turning off the fire, it is stirred evenly. Finally, liquid carbolic acid is added and stirred evenly. 2. Formula: Mu Yan 25, granules 2, ultramarine 2, 20% glue (Arabic gum, peach gum or ox gum) 8, borneol 0. 1, and water 300 parts. Methods: First, ink smoke was made into slurry with a small amount of water, and it was finely ground, then water and granular elements were added for heating and stirring, then glue, ultramarine blue and borneol were added for heating, and after stirring for a while, it was allowed to stand and cool. 3. Formula: shellac 15, borax 3, boiling water 4, 95% alcohol 3, acid ink dye 1 and cold water 53 parts. Methods: Shellac was dissolved in alcohol and added to cold water with borax. Dissolve acid black dye in boiling water, then slowly inject it into shellac solution and mix it evenly. Preparation of two kinds of special-purpose inks: the following are the formulas and preparation methods of two kinds of special-purpose inks: one can write on oil paper, and its ink traces are as clear as those on ordinary paper; There is also a kind that can be waterproof without changing. (1) For the ink that can be written on oil paper, turpentine, shellac and other resins are dissolved in ammonia water to make a saturated solution. In addition, three parts of glue and five parts of water are dissolved, and ammonia is used to make it weakly alkaline, so two parts of saturated solution of this resin are mixed with five parts of glue solution, and after thorough mixing, an appropriate amount of oil smoke or carbon black is added, and the mixture is practiced according to the method of making ordinary ink. Finally, add gloss agent and perfume. This method is characterized by the use of "resin ammonia solution". This solution can be regarded as a kind of soap, however, its emulsifying performance, viscosity, adhesion and so on are better than ordinary soft soap, and its supporting ability to gelatinous oil fume is longer. (2) Water-resistant ink: shellac 10, borax 5, Turkish red oil 1, water 5 and pine smoke 20 parts are taken and mixed. The mixing method is as follows: shellac is dissolved in hot water solution of glass and borax, then Turkish oil is dropped into it and stirred immediately, then it is removed from the fire without boiling, and the slurry made of pine smoke and water is mixed a little at a time while it is slightly warm; Finally, filter with a very fine sieve or cloth, add camphor oil to the filtrate as appropriate, and let it stand in a tank. The more days, the better the quality. This water-resistant ink can be used to write billboards, door couplets, parcels and other sundries. Formula of ink detergent: diluted with 1 part oxalic acid and 19 parts water, it can be made into ink detergent, and contact the stationery store for distribution.
