The supply of solar energy is also unstable. At present, the cost of centralized solar power station is five times that of nuclear power, and the cost of decentralized solar power generation is higher. More importantly, the energy density of solar energy is very small, and the solar power station needs a huge area. The electricity generated by laying solar cells on the roof can supply electricity to residents, which was 30 years ago.

6. Wind power and solar power supply are unstable, and other power stations or energy storage stations many times larger than them are needed to balance the power supply fluctuation, not to mention the possibility of building such a large energy storage station. Just saying that the environmental damage caused by building such a large storage power station is enough to make the environmental protection effect of wind power or solar energy meaningless.

7. Wind energy and solar energy are greatly limited by the environment and are difficult to develop. The exploitable wind energy is less than a fraction of hydropower. There is not much solar energy.

8. Do you know that if China's nuclear power reaches the world average, it can reduce a lot of thermal power, because there are fewer thermal power stations, and less coal is burned, and fewer people die because of coal mine accidents. In this way, the number of casualties in coal mine accidents will be reduced more than that in Chernobyl within ten years.

9. After the Chernobyl accident, the local environment was much better than that near most large thermal power plants in China. The Chernobyl nuclear power plant was not shut down after the 1986 accident, but kept generating electricity until February 2000 15. In the 14 years after the accident, at least 6000 people were working. Not only is there no grass growing around Chernobyl, but a beautiful nature reserve has also been formed. Wake up, nuclear power is the only choice for mankind, unless you are willing to give up modern civilized society and live with your back to the loess.

You are wrong. Even under the Chernobyl nuclear accident, nuclear power is still the cheapest, cleanest and most efficient energy source. Even under the magnitude 7 nuclear accident, the environmental damage caused by nuclear power plants is still lower than the normal operation of other major power generation modes. Cleaning up the nuclear accident will consume a lot of manpower, material resources and financial resources. This is because no one will clean up the mess of thermal power, hydropower, bioenergy and even solar energy. Those who talk about environmental protection every day just leave more disasters to generations to clean up. No one even faces up to these problems, only some energy suppliers and scientists they bought are desperately promoting those new and green energy sources for their own selfish desires.

In fact, the real reason for the current development of "new energy" is that they are "renewable", not green.

Thermal power not only causes serious dust, acid rain and greenhouse effect, but also emits 50~60 times as much radioactive substances into the atmosphere as nuclear power plants. And this radioactive pollution has never been protected. Thousands of people die every year because of thermal power, and cancer patients caused by thermal power pollution have never been counted.

The damage of hydropower to natural water bodies and environment is now controversial. The four upstream and downstream provinces have fought a lawsuit for half a century for Sanmenxia, which has already stopped storing water.

Bioenergy directly leads to species extinction and forest destruction in third world countries. If Germans drive less cars and burn less "biofuels", millions of people will have enough to eat.

There is serious pollution in the process of smelting silicon for solar cells. At present, the III-V compound solar cells represented by gallium arsenide are highly toxic and polluting.

Nuclear energy is closely protected in the whole industrial chain, and only nuclear accidents will leak out. However, the above-mentioned conventional energy and so-called green energy have never been protected in the production process, and their pollution is much more serious than one Chernobyl explosion every year. And their consequences are enough to run through the whole history of human civilization.
