After graduating in 1961, he entered the factory's research institute and studied art with Gu Jingzhou. He worked in the industry for more than ten years. In the art of making purple clay pots, he has served as technician, deputy section chief and director of Yixing Art Ceramics Factory. In 1982, his works "Bamboo Pot" and "Pillar Pot" won the second prize in the new ceramic product design competition of the Ministry of Light Industry; in 1990, "Jasper Ruyi" won the first prize in the Jiangsu Province Ceramic Art Competition; in March 1990, he presided over the development The developed ceramic container of "Air Freshener" won the second prize of the National Excellent New Product Award of the Ministry of Light Industry and the Jiangsu Province Excellent New Product Golden Bull Award.
