2025 Henan College Entrance Examination Reform Policy

The 2025 Henan college entrance examination plan is coming! On June 27th, the Information Office of the provincial government held a press conference on the reform of college entrance examination in Henan Province, introducing the background, main contents and implementation characteristics of the reform of college entrance examination in our province. The Implementation Plan for Deepening the Comprehensive Reform of College Entrance Examination in Henan Province was officially issued, and the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination in Henan Province was fully launched.

Reform background

According to the general requirements of pilot first, step-by-step implementation and orderly advancement, since Zhejiang and Shanghai launched the first batch of reform pilots in 20 14, the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination has gone through 8 years of exploration and practice in 2 1 province, and the system setting has become increasingly mature. With the approval of the Ministry of Education, Henan Province, as one of the fifth batch of eight provinces (regions) to start the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination, began to implement it from the first year high school students who entered school in the autumn of 2022.

Program content

Henan's "Implementation Plan" is divided into three parts: reform objectives, main tasks and safeguard measures. It is clear that the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination in our province will be fully launched in 2022 and implemented in 2025. Answered the key questions such as "what to test", "how to test" and "how to recruit", and put forward clear requirements for further standardizing the comprehensive quality evaluation of ordinary high school students. The evaluation content mainly includes five aspects: ideological and moral character, academic level, physical and mental health, artistic accomplishment, labor and social practice.

Clear and unified college entrance examination subjects

"3+ 1+2"

Since 2025, the college entrance examination in our province has implemented the "3+ 1+2" model, and "3" means unifying the college entrance examination subjects: Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages; "1" and "2" are optional subjects, where "1" refers to the optional subject of 1 selected from physics or history subjects, and "2" refers to the selection of two re-examination subjects from ideological politics, geography, chemistry and biology.
