Qufu’s emergency reminder on epidemic prevention and control for people entering and returning to Nanjing, Jiangsu

From July 20 to 8:00 on July 21, 2021, there were 7 new locally confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 2 asymptomatic infections in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Starting from July 21, 2021, Xiecun Community, Baiyun Road Community, Shizuo Village, Lukou Street, Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, and Maojiawu Natural Village, Jiutang Administrative Village, Shiqiu Street, Lishui District, have been adjusted from low-risk areas to medium-risk areas. In risk areas, Lukou Street is a closed area. In order to strictly implement the prevention and control strategy of "preventing external importation and preventing internal rebound" and effectively control and reduce the risk of epidemic spread, the Qufu Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued the following emergency reminder to the residents:

1.

People who currently live in our city and have been to Nanjing, Jiangsu Province since July 6, 2021, must promptly and proactively report to their communities and units, and cooperate with inspections, testing, health management and other work.

2. Residents are requested to pay close attention to the information updates in medium- and high-risk areas and arrange travel reasonably. Unless there are special circumstances in the near future, please do not travel to key epidemic areas such as Dehong Prefecture in Yunnan Province and Nanjing City in Jiangsu Province. Persons who intend to return to Ququ from Dehong Prefecture in Yunnan Province or Nanjing City in Jiangsu Province should proactively report relevant information to their communities and units 24 hours in advance.

3. Vaccination with COVID-19 is the safest, most economical and most effective way to prevent COVID-19. Before July 25, everyone who is over 18 years old and has no contraindications to the vaccine must receive the COVID-19 vaccine in accordance with the principle of "vaccination should be done". Those who have not yet been vaccinated are asked to go to a nearby COVID-19 vaccination site with their ID card as soon as possible to complete the vaccination. Starting from July 26, our city will no longer organize large-scale first-dose vaccinations for people aged 18 and above.

4. Always maintain awareness of personal protection, wear masks scientifically, wash hands frequently, ventilate frequently, avoid gatherings, maintain a social distance of more than 1 meter, and develop a healthy and civilized lifestyle.

5. Strengthen health monitoring. If symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea, fatigue, etc. occur, on the basis of taking full protection and wearing disposable medical masks or above, go to the fever clinic in a timely manner. For health screening and diagnosis and treatment, try to avoid taking public transportation during medical treatment.
