Contents of the New Physician Law in 2022

Those who study Chinese medicine as apprentices or obtain medical skills and expertise through years of practice are recommended by at least two Chinese medicine doctors, and can obtain the qualification of Chinese medicine doctors and corresponding qualification certificates after passing the examination of practical skills and effects organized by the competent department of Chinese medicine of the provincial people's government.

After studying Chinese medicine as an apprentice for three years, or after many years of medical practice, those who really have expertise can take the qualification examination of Chinese medicine doctors after passing the examination and recommendation of Chinese medicine professional organizations or medical and health institutions entrusted by the health department of the people's government at or above the county level.

The legal name was changed from the Law on Medical Practitioners to the Law on Medical Practitioners. The Physician Law encourages doctors to actively participate in first aid services in public places such as public transportation; A doctor who causes damage to the patient by voluntary first aid shall not bear civil liability. On August 20th, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) deliberated and passed the Law on Medical Practitioners in People's Republic of China (PRC) (hereinafter referred to as the Law on Medical Practitioners), which came into force on March 1 2022, and the Law on Medical Practitioners in People's Republic of China (PRC) (hereinafter referred to as the Law on Medical Practitioners) was abolished at the same time.

New Deal for Rural Doctors in 2022?

1. Promote graded diagnosis and treatment, and 85% of cities and towns will carry out pilot grading diagnosis and treatment. The "Key Points of Health and Family Planning Work" points out that it is necessary to carry out pilot projects of graded diagnosis and treatment in 85% towns, focusing on chronic diseases and key populations, and promoting telemedicine cooperation networks. And strengthen the connection with the medical insurance policy;

2. Implement the salary system of public hospitals, and establish and improve the personnel salary system in line with the characteristics of the industry;

3. Promote payment by disease type, and the same generic drug has the same reimbursement standard. In the near future, we will accelerate the reform of composite payment methods such as paying by disease type and paying in advance by the total amount of beds;

4. Starting from the top three hospitals, besides the salary system reform of public hospitals, the establishment of public hospitals should also be reformed;

5. Implement the rural doctors' treatment policy, solve the problem of providing for the aged, continue to be guided by the government's purchase of services, and strengthen the assessment of basic public health services;

To sum up, those who study medicine from a teacher or obtain medical expertise through years of practice are recommended by at least two Chinese medicine doctors, and only after passing the examination of practical skills and effects organized by the competent department of Chinese medicine of the provincial people's government can they obtain the qualification of Chinese medicine doctors and the corresponding qualification certificates.

Article 2 The term "doctor" as mentioned in this Law refers to professional medical personnel who have obtained the qualification of doctor according to law and are registered to practice in medical and health institutions, including practicing doctors and assistant practicing doctors.
