The moment that made me suddenly excited during my trip happened one day in July 2011, in Peshawar, a city in the northwestern part of Pakistan.

At that time, I was dining in a restaurant with a Bati friend. During the meal, from time to time, the Bati sitting next door or the Bati in the next room ran past me to say hello, shake hands, take photos, and hug me. ?They are very friendly to the Chinese, and I go out of my way to cater to them.

When we finished our meal and were about to pay, the boss told me: Someone has already bought your order. I was very surprised at the time! I hurriedly asked the boss: Who bought the order for me? The boss pointed at the man sitting in the corner drinking milk tea. I saw that he was a Bati brother. At this time, he also raised his head and smiled at me. I walked up to him in confusion and asked: Friend, how can I let him You pay for me! At this time, he answered me in standard Chinese: It doesn't matter, the Chinese are our good friends, this is just a little bit of my thoughts, you're welcome? Hearing this, I was moved for a moment and felt warm in my heart! There are people I have never met in a foreign country paying my bills.

In this way, we followed the topic and chatted. Through the conversation, we learned that his name is Abbas. He studied in Beijing and worked at the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing. He is a China expert! He said that China is a true friend of Pakistan and has helped them a lot. He held my hand with both hands and said affectionately: Do we want to live well forever?
