The history of Ordos

Ordos has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of human civilization. Sarawusu culture and bronze culture have a long history.

As early as 70,000 years ago, the "Hetao people" were thriving in this vast land; from 1457 to 1464 (Ming Dynasty Tianshun), the Mongolian Ordos tribe stationed in the Hetao, which was first called Ordos; in 1648 (the sixth year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty), the banners of Ordos met with King Aizhao to form the Yikezhao League; in 2001, the alliance was withdrawn and the prefecture-level Ordos City was established.
